Is the gingerbread keyboard working for anyone? I downloaded it and installed it and put the checkmark next to it but it still looks like I am using the Froyo keyboard?

did you long press a text area and select input method and hit gingerbread keyboard?

did you long press a text area and select input method and hit gingerbread keyboard?

I cant believe I never knew how to swap keyboards lol sorry for the dumb post and thanks for the info

The gingerbread keyboard is already included, so there's really no need to download it..

Can we use the old Linear theme with this? Or does bgill have to make one especially for Liberty?

I do so love my Linear...

No but a new one is in his section or you can use the Liberty Tool Box and download and install it from there!

Already retweeted and commented to kejar and jrummy on twitter, but great job guys. I will be making some AOSP style themes soon. Including 3 titles I have named : Cherrylicious (Red / White theme) , White-out (All white(some grey)), and Carbon (Carbon Fiber theme). Will post as soon as they are ready.

Kejar, I know you said you don't support the 3G Mobile Hotspot app, but since you can add that on through the toolbox I'd like to ask whether or not it is the "free-to-use" hacked version or the standard pay to use from verizon version?

The hack to make the 3gHotspot work for unpaying customers is not included. You will need to find that on your own if you wish to do that.

Kejar31...For testing reasons I was wondering if the alleged hotspots hack for gummyjar would work on liberty, or perhaps the one from Team Blackhat??
If so, since this would be an update.zip installed thru recovery... could this cause say maybe liberty toolbox to stop working? That happened with Chevytools in SSX

In all seriousness, you've made me a very happy man. This is the first time, since I've had the X, that I have felt I've had a REAL ROM on my phone. I'd been feeling nostalgic for the days of the D1 here lately. But Liberty has ended that. This is exactly what I wanted to see in a ROM. You both have raised the bar. I'm very excited for the future of all ROM developers now that you have given them something much greater to aspire to and/or beat, if possible!

Wow, this ROM is the best thing I've ever seen. I've downloaded a lot of roms so far, but this is by far the best one. Nothing else comes close. Great job to anyone who helped with it! BTW I found out where the gingerbread keyboard was and thats in the Liberty toolbox under Liberty Tweaks> App Manager> Install Add-ons ).

Here you go, install via clockwork as you would any other .zip package.

The .zip you gave me installs fine but doesn't seem to make a difference speed using mobilespeedtest.com. Any ideas?
