[ROM] The Eagle Has Landed!!!! - Liberty 1.0 1/11/11

First off I want to say THIS ROM ROX!! Not sure if it's been mentioned, but I do want to point out that my sms/mms messaging forces closed upon attempting to send a message and I am not receiving any messages either... no texting = not good... anyone else having this problem and is there any fixes??

EDIT: I do want to point out that I have also tried handcent and chomp and nothing is working (they all crash upon attempting to text)

Dumb question, but did you wipe data and cache when installing the ROM? The problem you are experiencing can usually be attributed to that... If everything else is working, before you clear data and cache (factory reset), try going to settings > Applications > Manage applications > All > Messaging > Clear data

Did you install the version meant for your phone? IE Droid X version over Droid 2 or vice versa?

One Touch Dialing

Love the ROM and its customability. There is never a dull moment and I want to thank you guys for the attention to detail and smoothness of it. dancedroid

Not sure if I mentioned this before but is there a way to add one touch dialing to this ROM? It was a very handy feature to have.

What he said. Even more likely caused by restore from titanium...

Wiping data/cache for messaging should fix, although I thought there was another service that handled syncing as well that can be wiped for messaging issues.. don't remember off the top of my head which one though.. :S

Edit: gah, like 50 posts late.

After reading the above, might be time to wipe data/cache, and just reload the ROM over top to fix it.. Something's hung up, some other service/app is causing the problem, but for the life of me I can't find/remmeber which one to clear! :S

Never mind, I found the answer. Download Fission ROM Manager Lite and use it to install Program menu hotfix.

Are thee any limitations to using this? I just downloaded and there are an amazing amount of options!

stock e-mail client keeps deleting emails for no reason. Even if i click on the e-mail in the notifications bar it opens the e-mail client then the e-mail is no longer in there.

I tried going into settings>accounts>add account>corporate and i keep getting an error message while trying set it up. Keeps saying that it can not connect to the server when i know the server address is correct.

When i add the account through the e-mail client then it does not show up in my accounts in settings.

Any ideas?

I haven't really had a chance to play with it yet. So far I used it to fix the programming menu, put on quick office, and change the market app to a black theme, all without any problems. You can read more about the market theme and what FRM can do here.

dialer acting weird when on a call

I am having an issue when on a call. If I hold the phone up to my ear with my shoulder the calls will mute or even hang up sometimes. I have noticed that the dialer is showing when it happens. If you go back to the incall screen it shows that the mute if off. But if i turn the mute on and then back off it will unmute and people can hear me again. Has anyone seen this happening or know of a fix for it. I have also had it happen on the latest rubix as well. I think that it may be the dialer since it doesn't happen when running stock. It is not just my phone either. My wifes phone does it as well.
