[ROM] The Eagle Has Landed!!!! - Liberty 1.0 1/11/11

Hello.

I just installed Liberty 1.0 on my DX and I'm having an issue where my phone is not recognizing my SD card/says it has nothing on it when it clearly does. I was able to get it to realize there is music on there, but the player then says it doesn't support it.

Help?

You MAY have borked your SD card ?????
If you go too fast through the PC to Mass storage deal it causes issues .
I learnt this the hard way.
Hope i'm wrong...

turn off phone pull the SD then restart phone.
turn off phone reinstall SD and restart phone.

try a unmount then remount in setting sd memory section.
if all else fail you maybe doing a format of the sd using the sd memory section on the phone.

Yeah, I just reformatted my sdcard and I'm currently putting everything back in it again. I'll let you guys know how it goes. :blackdroid:

So I was able to restore my phone via a backup file I had using bootstrap; my sd card was still not being detected by liberty.

Essentially I'm back to having no ROM installed. I need assistance in the following:

I believe I'm having an issue discerning if I'm in the correct version required for a proper installation. My System Version is 2.3.340 and my Kernel Version is 2.6.32.9.

It says I need to be 340; does that refer to my Kernel Version or my System Version?

Thanks in advance!

EDIT: Also! My SD card is still not being detected. Any help with that would greatly be appreciated as well.

FYI, all of the droidx kernels are 2.6.32.9, the letters tell them apart..

System version.. BUT, the system version displayed under about phone, is whatever ROM you are running.
What it's REALLY meaning, is that Liberty is based on 2.3.340, whch requires either the 2.3.320 or 2.3.340 kernel.
The 2.3.340 kernel version is: 2.6.32.9-g55626e1

Fastest/easiest way to get there, is via:

Don't know what to tell you about the SDCard.. might just have a bad one...
:S

It was working perfectly fine before. :(

Edit: I removed the battery + SDCard and let it sit off the phone for a bit. I put it back in just now, and my Media Files are now loading. My music is also working. *crossing fingers hoping pictures pop up*. :)

Wanted to start with saying I just switched 2 of my phones to Liberty and so far love it. I have searched this thread along with skimming almost all the pages but I had a few questions. Is there any form of power management (Like the stock one to shut off data during late hours)? Also is there any kind of option of removing start-up sound? If not it would be a nice feature to include with 1.5. So far pretty good battery seem to be a little lower then they were when on Tranq but we will see after a few days. THANKS
