Yes, radio apps do work on droid IE: go to the market there are radio apps there. This app doesn't however

those are for internet radio broadcasts (ie. over the intarwebz via your data plan), not FM (free, free as a bird, over the air)

Correct, droid does have receiver but it has to enable Bluetooth and use headset as an antenna

you're not trying to suggest a bluetooth headset would be a suitable antenna are you? you would need wired stereo headphones. ya know, oldskool, with a wire, like on a tape or CD walkman.

anyway, I don't think anyone was able to get FM working on the d1, so the app that comes with the rom is just superfluous for now

TuneIn app is a radio app, works fine and it grabs my local stations from gps....also my droid is off with verizon....its temp disconnected, so......?

TuneIn is figuring out where you are and presenting your local stations over the internet, probably, in your case, by wifi

Love this rom so far, but have experienced two problems on my Droid -

1. Gmail Contact sync is incomplete - can't tell why some contacts don't make it to the phone. I tried turning off sync, then back on. Each time i get more contacts, but how many times do I have to do that to get them all?
2. Can't overclock with SetCPU after installing the chevy 1.25GHZ kernel. Max speed in SetCPU still shows 600mhz. Don't get me wrong - my droid still tons faster than any other ROM, but can't imagine how cool it would be to run at 1Ghz.

Anyone?

I can answer number 2. I have chevy 1 ghz and setcpu shows 1ghz. no problems here

I am starting to believe that half of you people cannot even read. All of these issues that are being posted about and reposted ad naseum are SOLVED BY READING THE POSTS ALREADY WRITTEN.

1. booted into clockwork recovery
2. wiped
3. flashed Zen MIUI
4. Go to partition setting in clockwork
5. Format data, cache, sd-ext
6. Reflashed ZEN V2
7. Flash Glass Dialer fix
8. Reboot
9. Enjoy

I have the MIUI Dialer and everything working.

Your apps may not auto-install is the only problem. But, no worries.. This is like having a NEW phone

if you flashed the glass dialer fix,then you dont have the MIUI dialer, you have the android dialer

Sorry guys forgot eri.xml on that. New update is coming up right now with that included. I also tried a couple of other things to see if I could get the built in tether to work but couldn't. So, anyone have a good free usb tether app? I really need tether.
