Why are people crying about an app launcher?

I continue using ADW with this rom. Works perfect.

Also, the creator of this rom DOES NOT suggest that you flash over without wipe when coming over from a different rom.

the majority of us installed this Rom after wipe data however you will get tons of Fcs in dial pad and contacts. therefore someone sugested installing without wipe and follow instructions on xda site for a fix. I done that and no FCs since dancedroid

I'm having a noobish issue here (I posted on the XDA but not sure how fast I'll get an answer) How do I wipe the contact and framework data as suggested in the fix?

While that may have worked for you, i installed with 4 wipes, loaded the rom up and installed the dialer fix on main page of this thread. Never had a force close after that. Only reason i switched roms was i ran out of space from all my apps

the idea of not wipeing is to retain the stock dialer and contacts that come with the rom,it is a very nice feature

go to settings>>application>>>manage application>>.choose the all tab>>.scroll down to those apps>>.choose wipe

I use the folder icon and dump all my apps into it and use that as my launcher. Works great for me. I only have four screens now and all my apps are readily available.

the fix at the OP is not the same original phone dialer its a different phone pad and different contact list

Hey TRIKOTRET are you able to get chrome to phone to work? I just tried it after i reinstalled miui over ss4.8 (thanks by the way for the work around) and it force closes on me.

Its not installed on my phone since i never use it. The work around is a start until they come out with new Roms based on this. IM sure it will be a sick rom once all the bugs have been fixed

I followed the 1st post.

1. booted into clockwork recovery
2. wiped
3. flashed Zen MIUI
4. Go to partition setting in clockwork
5. Format data, cache, sd-ext
6. Reflashed ZEN V2
7. Flash Glass Dialer fix
8. Reboot
9. Enjoy

I have the MIUI Dialer and everything working.

Your apps may not auto-install is the only problem. But, no worries.. This is like having a NEW phone

Guys the Flash Glass Dialer fix is not the same as the original dialer for the rom. You are missing out a nice feature. I would try and install this rom with no wipe and follow other posters instructions how to fix the fc. Once you have the fix you wont regret it. I been using the phone for over 3 hours and no problems so far dancedroid

I really like the notifications pull down with the settings at the bottom. Not a huge fan of having no app drawer... might just use this Rom with launcher pro..

I have had no problems after installing fix except one when i turn off my wifi the 3g signal does not come back

i can confirm that the kb_hf_framework-res.apk that thebowers posted fixes the keyboard backlight issue, i have changed the eri.xml to VERIZON WIRELESS, i used all caps though,if anyone wants it i can post it, im not getting any fcs. i followed what others have stated. install rom over existing rom,no wipe, go into settings>>apps>>>manage apps>>>the all tab>>>find contage storage and wipe data>>>find framework service and wipe data on it also. need to edit the build.prop so downloaded apps show in market,right now i only see paid apps

How did u load kb_hf_framework-res.apk? I tried the app but it does not load. please list how u did it and the vzw fix. thank u so much. nob here.
