ok two questions I didn't notice until today that I haven't been using the interacticx governor through jrummy Oc apply. I have been getting a really good battery with ondemand so should I change it or keep it the way it is?

I would suggest using interactiveX because:

InteractiveX is an interactive governor that clocks itself to 300mhz in sleep mode on it's own. No need for profiles!

And personally i've gotten better battery life with it.

yeah I've been testing it using the defaults..should I turn off messaging notifications by text message app? I have tried pretty much everything here it has to be like something simple I'm missing

If you do that you won't get any notifications...I use GoSms, i'm going to try using the default texting app to see if the lights still work.

Tested with the default app and it still works, I don't know what your problem is, sorry. Maybe someone else can help.

Arri I know that metro isn't using proxy but my settings worked in the leaked gb and now I flash zs(not even a day later) and only outgoing mms wont work. I really don't want to use that file and screw up somethin else. I did try that when I was still on froyo btw and it didn't work. Id rather just go back to stock gb. Sigh

It works perfect for me, even through different roms, it's stayed permanent.

Wireless Tether issues after Flash

since flashing the official D2 Gb leak, I am having issues getting the wireless tether (the one recently pulled from the market) to work. i am currently running the current 1.7 from this thread, following directions explicitly all the way down to "Wipe data/factory reset" both times.

the app will run but nothing will connect to my D2 through tether. also, I believe the app is turning on the stock tethering (which i believe may be interfering w/the operation.
I have also tried 'Barnacle' and a couple other tethering apps all w/the same outcome.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. i dont mind doing a little work, i just dont know where to go w/this.
Also my experience w/Android development is still somewhat noob.

I may be wrong, but as far as I know, some carriers have started blocking tethering... are you paying for yours? If not, it could be a carrier-related issue. I recently saw that my tethering program on my rooted froyo stopped working as well...

ok well I guess I'm going to have to resort to full wipe / install since it seems my lights don't want to blink properly! I keep thinking maybe another app is interfering with it but I only have light flow and go sms. I disabled light flow maybe ill just try deleting it

good point guess i should try flashing back and see. if so, this will suck :icon_exclaim::icon_exclaim:

meh, still worth another flash back (maybe to a prev.stock rom) worth a shot till i get a def answer.
This ROM is amazing, killer battery life and improved UI over all, transitions, hardly no lag whatsoever. but, i tether alot. so if flashing back works, well, ill deal w/the older or different ROM for now. ill def post up whether goin back works.

I apologize if I missed this, but I'm running 1.71 and the customizer for the pull down text is not working. Is it working for anyone else? That is the only problem I'm experiencing besides the LED issue which I was able to fix by downloading light flow.

Didn't work for me. Says something is missing. Not that long ago I found a recovery installable zip that lets you change it via terminal, that's what I used

In the GB leak there is already a bulit in wireless/wired tether app. Did you try that?

It's a known issue. It should be fixed when the new customizer is released.
