[ROM] ZombieStomped 1.7 (.595 DX GB Motoblur build)

im not even feeling the vibrate from when it finishes booting like normal. it just sits on the boot logo. was going to SBF back to froyo...but cant do that cause computer wont see the phone

You should be able to pull the battery, put it back in and press and hold the vol - and camera button and then press the power button and release all. That should bring up the bootloader, unless you are SBF 'ing you phone a different way.

am I unable to SBF back to the froyo. install the bootloader app. wipe data/clear cache and just install a backup of my previous ROM 5.8.8 or do I need to go through all the tedious steps?

Did the SBF back to Froyo fail to complete?

I would recommend going through the steps of rooting 340, instal the 3 part 588, install 595, install ZS 1.7 this has worked well for me. Then if you had previously created a backup you can do a Advanced Restore "Data" only.

installed and everything was running smoothly. installed all my other apps. restarted fine. went and opened customizer in terminal emulator. decided to make a backup before messing with it so D2 bootstrapped into recovery and got stuck at Zombie Boot Logo. have tried pulling battery, clearing cache through stock recovery, and now just wiped all data... and still nothing. stuck at the zombie boot logo

HELP!!!

I am having the exact same issue. Not sure what has caused it. i am SBFing right now. Going to try a few things. Maybe need to re-Gingerbreak after Zombie istall, or going to make sure USB debugging is turned on.

the SBF to froyo worked great. I just tried taking the easy way out and restoring one of my previous backups.....didnt work. just got hung up at the boot logo after loading the backup. guess Ill SBF once again and do the 3 parter for 588.
thanks!

Theme Screenshots Available?

Are there screenshots of the theme available? It's a pain to have to go through terminal, select a theme, reboot just to see what it looks like.

Thanks!

Yeah I tried doing that "once" as well. I don't think the nandroid backups contain all the framework and system files to restore across a different platform (ex Froyo to Gingerbread).

im scouring the boards but I cant seem to find the 3 part upgrade path to 5.8.8 you got a link for it? I think I still have the files on my phone..but im not possitive and have to let the battery charge up.

Is anyone else having trouble with extremely long boot times and then freezing completely? I was running great and then decided to reboot for some reason and the phone locked up when rebooting the next dozen times I tried. It would get all the way to loading widgets, etc... but it would freeze before I could delete them. I was finally able to uninstall Weather Bug Elite and Business Calendar and the phone now boots, but I occasionally get a notice from Tasker (no tasks running) that memory is low and the display gets "jittery" on the bottom part of my screen.

Not sure when to looks to see if I could figure out what was causing the phone to completely lock up like that. Couldn't even tell it to boot into Clockwork to restore a backup...

OK I SBF'ed and then went all the way thru to applying Zombiestomped. I then checked USB debugging and it was off. This is why you will stau at the boot logo after using Bootstrapper. It got me twice in the last two days.

When i flash this i am having issues with the market, it works fine for 5 minutes then once my apps start to restore they all get to random % then all fail saying download error please try again. i have tried everything from restoring nandroids, to clearing market updates, uninstalling market.. etc, the only thing that seemed to work is sbf back to 2.3.340. tried 3 times with the same result, i re downloaded the files, twice and still same problem. i like the look of this rom too..

OK I finally got this ROM running the way I want and it is smooth. Lovin it.

I am down to the last issue and wondering if anyone else has seen it. When I go to my contacts to set a ringtone it wont go to the screen to choose, it just goes back to the contact.

Any suggestions?

so are you saying USB debugging HAS to be turned ON? or does it need to be off?

Still can't get scripts to work. Tried downloading Terminal emulator by ZTA Tech but it won't even install. I was using Android Term Em but I can't get them to work.

lost 50% battery in 6 hours. Just listening to music, not streaming. i gotta be doing something wrong. Circle battery widget is the only running. Froze the bloat I don't use. Any tips?
