[HACKS] Root Droid 1 - regardless of OS version

Do you have the update.zip on the root of your sd and named correctly? Not update.zip.zip

I didn't clarify myself. When you put it on the sd, you don't put it in any folder.

I got my phone rooted. Then I tried to install the bugless beast rom, now when I boot my phone up it asks me to if I have a google account yet and if I want to set one up. It's like I never used it before. I copied the Epic Blue Beastv621 file to my sd card and renamed it update.zip then I rebooted to the bootloader and tryied to install. What happened and how do I fix it?

Okay, question the first -- and we're REALLY off-topic here, so we might want to move this to a new thread once you answer (you DID root the phone, after all) -- did you make a backup before trying to install the ROM?

I installed titanium backup. I didn't do a backup in the bootloader window because nothing was telling me to do it there and I wasn't looking for it.

Just ran this on my 5th og. Can't be better. Kudos op.
Maybe it's cuz I'm one of the sick ones that loves sbf. :0
