I've been trying to get an old Droid Restarted. I got boot-loader. I can see the device in RSD Life. I have tried several SPF files butt have yet to have the "Start" button activate or do anything. Please help.

Yes and I get the same result. "Start button is grayed out"

But it still won't show up. When you press the show device button it doesn't appear and your bootloader on the phone says ok to program.

Alright, next step is to try a different USB port.

i dunno what the deal is...racked my mind all night tryin to get it and now consequently both my netbook, and my droid, are runnin super slow andd periodically freezing up... any tips? should i restore my fone to default maybe?:motdroidhoriz:

I started to try to give you some solutions there, but you didn't reply, so I thought you had fixed it. You've been asking three times now how to revert your phone, but compain about not being able to root at the same time. Let's try to just keep it in one thread.

quick question. I rooted a friends phone and I dont remeber if I did the update.zip (depreciated) it appears rooted and works fine. Is it?

Check and see if you have the Superuser app. You can also check to see if you have the custom recovery. And if you feel the need, download a root required app for a double check as well. If you feel like

Yep all is good. Running the sourcery rom and everythings acts rooted just like on my DX.
