Root/Roms/ICS Leaks/FXZ etc... DL Links For Everything, Updated Daily

Alright guys I have a slight problem when trying to install the leak. I do not have a cable that can connect my droid to my computer because the one that came from my phone was busted so they gave me a new one that won't allow me to connect it to the pc, the pc won't recognize it. Also I am on .902, I can't upgrade to .905, it always fails. I can't install ics because it fails. How can I get ics on my droid when I am in this situation?

Buy a new USB cable?

You don't have to use USB to upgrade. Just need to have the updates (.905 and ICS leak) on your SD card. Only really need a USB that works with your PC for if you have issues and need to fxz back or want to root after you update.

How are you trying to update to .905? Are you rooted? Did you delete stock Verizon apps? If so, that's what's causing the update to fail.

Alright thanks I have the stock apps frozen, and I think I deleted some. How can I get them all back on, just do a factory reset?

Your best bet to getting back to factory stock is to fxz stock 902 using rsd lite on your computer. Then you can upgrade to 905 ota and either flash ics leak or wait it out for ics ota.

Well, without one you're not going to get very far I'm afraid. There's no magic to this. In order to fxz back to any useful release, you'll need a working USB cable, latest moto drivers installed, and RSD Lite to be installed. The fact that the 905 update doesn't work for you means that your phone is in a bad state (i.e. the frozen apps thing). I have no idea if a factory reset will fix that or not. If you're seriously considering going to an ICS leak without a way to flash the phone I'd think twice about it. That's an absolute recipe for disaster....especially since you'd be off the OTA path without any way back.

Am I going to HAVE to fxz back to a release. These leaks are pretty stable from what I have read. It's just that the motofail cable that came with my phone was busted and now the two other usb cables that I have from verizon won't work. I have to dropbox everything, it's frustrating to say the least.

I'd say you're never even going to get that far since you deleted and froze system apps in 902. So, yes, I'm fairly certain you're going to need to FXZ to even start this ride.

Alrighty, sorry for being a d1k but it just pisses me off that the cables that I have won't work, time to spend 20 bucks on another 50 cent usb cable.

Alright thanks guys, may be making one of these guys later after I get all of my other stuff sorted out first.

You're positive it isn't your moto drivers or the USB port that your using? Also when you connect to rsd lite it will only recognize your phone if it is in fast boot mode of stock recovery

Point being have you ever used rsd lite or an fxz file?
