Another dumb question. I was able to fxz to 905 and am running ics smoothly now. BUT I am trying to install my apps from the marketplace and it is saying that download requires network, even though my 3g is working and I can browse the web with the internet browser. Am I doing something wrong?

EDIT: And can I get root on it or no?

Yeah download razrs edge from the OP and make sure you turn on USB debugging on... What ended up fixing your fxz problem?

Once I manually installed the moto drivers the computer recognized the phone. I was able to get the market to work and all is going swell now.

Considering the custom ROMS. Blackhole was recommended. I noticed that there are new ROMS added to the section. Are they for JB? BTW, if you were wondering who was adding you to GTALK, it was me....

2.11 as it is now (new version I just added) has kexec support. Kexec let's us run custom kernels by flashing a kernel over our stock kernel... i can explain it with more detail later. And you're welcomed =)

Got your gtalk. Just got home from vacation so I will be updating all three of my threads OPs. No JB ROMs besides cm10 and ToRmEnTeD but data doesn't work good so flash them to check them out but they aren't daily drivers

Yeah I started this right when the first leak was found to centralize all things ICS and it took on a life of its own... I run this at Rootz and Rombot (which used to be droidhive) It'll continue to grow and change but I appreciate the support and will need all the encouragement I can get to keep it running

Yes it can... over stock 905

Yes I do but I tend not to share it until you know the risks and can tell me why you want to do it... .238 is security locked so you cannot fxz back to 905 which means when the ICS ota comes out you won't be able to get back so that you can flash it... if you are lucky Samuri will at some point be able to get you on it but there is the risk that you will never be on the ota path again. So if we get jb you won't
