Hey sephtin. I used your blk bar mod on rubix 1.0 and liked it. But with 1.6 I like the 10% battery view up top. Will the new bar mod that you are working on have the battery status like that?

My intentions are to have the batt with 10% increments.. in fact, I have a version like that right now... :S But I HATE the fact that it doesn't show the charge icon... when it's at 100%, and you connect a charger. *sigh*

I hope not. I like the blk bar mod without the % battery view. But then again I use the Gauge Battery Widget.

Hmm... I'm pretty sure that even stock it doesn't show charging if it's at 100%. I've never seen my phone reporting as charging when fully charged and plugged in.

Hmm, I swear I'd remember that... :S But I guess I never did run battery icons with %'s on them.. so possible. ??

What am I missing??
On an interesting note, ONCE (and only ONCE so far) one of my custom ringtones played when a contact called. Go figure.

Only way I know of is to open the ringtone and hit save, at which point it will ask you what to do with it.

What I don't like is that it creates a new ringtone, even if you give it the same existing name. It adds a number to the end.

If there is another way I'd love to know it too.

Has something changed since Focused 1.0 you mean? Or has something changed between stock, and Focused?

Stock and Focused is a COMPLETELY different base. Focused is NOT based on the stock blurry build, for starters. So lots of things are going to work differently... :S

Has anyone tried the new wireless tether app for root users app and gotten AP mode? I just tried it out, and it's still showing up as ad-hoc mode. I also don't see an option to change it, but is there something I'm missing?

I was wondering the same thing. It looked the same to me. If infrastructure mode is hiding somewhere, it's news to me.

Well, that "worked" as in it set the ringtone to the contact... Thanks.

It did not "work" as in, I called myself from that contact's number and it rang my default.

Used the ulv uc 800 preset on jrummy's app for an couple of hours. No reboots. What are some good stress tests to try and force a reboot? This rom still flys uc.

My G1 based on a CM rom doesn't show a charging icon when it's full battery. I think that's standard for Android because at that point, it stops charging, reports as "Full", and then runs off of AC/USB power (just like when you're on a weak car-charger with GPS + Navigation + music/video streaming + whatever else when you're pulling too much power for it to both run and charge, it will only run off of that add'l power instead of trying to do both)? Just a thought...

My understanding is that VPN has never worked on this phone properly. The closest we've gotten is VPN working sometimes when you're connectived via WiFi, but never over 3G. Motorola has never fixed this bug to my knowledge.

Doesn't Sephtin's v1.0 blackbar mod give you this? Don't trust me but that was my understanding (I've not actually tried it - I like the % battery view and always ran it on my CM roms).
