Great rom. Everything working fine.

Hey sephtin, I did install black bar mod over my other theme and everything works fine. No trouble at all. Looks great with the black letters.

I also installed the blur camera also from your site. I can't get the blur gallery to work though.

Yea ditto. I haven't been able to get it the Blur gallery to work either so I'm stuck with the 3D Gallery which is slow as hell.

The cool thing about 3d gallery is that you can see all your picasa web pictures. But other than that yeah it's a little slow.

The app JustPictures lets you do that too (as well as access Facebook, Flickr, PhotoBucket and a few others) but you just can't access the the camera roll.

SyncMyPix will link your facebook pictures with contacts. Although it has problems linking about a quarter of mine.

UGh..i love the blackbar mod but i can't stand the rounded corners. I don't get how anyone likes them... so Ima go with bgill's black bar mod, which is cool except for that it doesn't have battery percentage in the batt, guess I have to compromise (and don't take that the wrong way, I really appreciate all of the devs for their work!!)

@bgill... any way you could post JUST the black bar from incognito red? or tell me how to pull it out of the zip?

your's and someone else posted one before you, aesir i think was his name. those and the stock bar have rounded corners. not knocking on you guys for your effort and great work, just saying i hate those corners, turns the screen into a wide bullet shape instead of a rectangle, i just dont think it looks good. The phone is horizontally symmetric, and so getting rid of horizontal symmetry in the screen just doesnt make sense to me.

Bleh, that's funny, I didn't even notice! :S I just used whatever came with Focused 1.6. Not sure how to set it back.. I'll have to take a look.. :S

Quick question... say I found a theme where I like the black bar on it. Would it be easy for me to pull just the black bar (and pull down shader) off of that theme? Incognito Red for 1.6 has one I really like, but I dont want to use the rest of the theme because it has some things that I don't prefer (invisible unlock slider and non-existent silencing slider on lock screen).

I'm thinking I might be too picky for this stuff... and that I want to become a themer so that I can customize stuff myself (although I'm going to limit myself to non-graphical customization, I.e. any graphics I use will be pulled from other sources rather than created myself). I'm a quick learner, have some programming experience, and would appreciate anyone pointing me in the right direction on where to begin.

This is a great rom!!!
I am running my phone over 24 hours with one full charge!
More surprisingly, I still have 40% left.
It was not moderate use. I did something almost every 10 minutes.
Love this rom.

Have had one other report of this.. but only on notifications of music, and incoming text. Working on it...

If it's happening for ALL notifications, then something else is up. The same framework file changes both the background image from white to black, AND the text setting from black to white... it's fine on mine for everything but incoming calls (and I haven't tried, but I assume music (??) as well...

Try re-installing.. ?

All of the changes that are into the black bar, the text colors, all of the images for... well all the basic system functions/notification bar/everything, are all held in the framework-res file.. so no, there's no easy way to grab just what you want. Only way, is to start with one, and start adding/modifying/changing it to your liking... which isn't quite as easy as it sounds either I haven't seen a guide, but I'm sure there's one around... sorry I can't help more.
