rubiX Focused 1.6

Well reading and re-reading this thread all last night and this morning, I installed it. Was real quick too. Now I just have to put it together so it looks like I want it.

OK, been playing with it for a while now. I did get a battery icon replaced with metamorph without any trouble. Anyone have any ideas on how to change the font on the phone? I tried the all in one app and that didnt work.

I had the same problem after install. I've tried several way to resolve the issue and the only thing that worked for me was, doing a factory reset, then reinstalling bootstrap and rom manager

I don't get it.

I had this same problem with 1.0 and now I am having it with 1.6...

I download the zip, put it on the sd, follow EVERY step to the letter. when i got to install it I get E:Can't symlink system/bin/dumpcrash E:failure at line 4.

is it because my computer is running Ubuntu or something? I can't figure this out at all, very very frustrating... :angry:

Just a thought: have you tried a different sd card? Yours could be bad and corrupting the file. I had this problem with my g1 about a year and a half ago when I was trying to flash cm roms to it.

Downloaded the Blackbar. Looks great. You've already acknowledged Black Text on Black in the music app, but wanted you to know that you also have B on B when downloading market apps.
Your original assumption that this is an issue with the app itself is true. To change this, you would have to edit the market APK.

1) ADW Notifier : ADWNotifier - Android app on AppBrain
Adds the ability for unread counts on virtiually any APP, but in particular Missed calls, SMS, Gmail, E-Mail, etc. Even works with icon in launcher bar. This is a feature that Launcher Pro has had over ADW for a while.
2) HomeSmack: [APP] HomeSmack - Change double-tap Home and Long-search - xda-developers
Mostly adds some options to people still on Blur, but one cool thing is that it adds back the 'Double Tap Home' option and allows you to set it to ANY app, not just the system ones as allowed by Blur.

1. Download the .zip to your SD Card.

2. Reboot into recovery

3. Make a backup (just in case!)

4. Install .zip from SD Card

5. Reboot and enjoy!

The blackbar mod by Jsin Legacy (from rubix 1.0) works great on this (1.6) rom. I'm having less issues with black text because the pull down is gray and not black. I have some off the wall apps that are running and unless they were specifically skinned, I was having black on black text with Sephtin's black bar mod. I do miss the battery %'s, though. I metamorphed some icons from the rubix 1.0.. i just may do that to tweak what I like.

All you gotta do is go into ROM manager and look. If its been uploaded then it will be there.

As stated before, it sounds like a corrupt file.. or SDCard issue... To confirm, you're installing from ClockworkMod Recovery (Going to droid x bootstrapper and choosing reboot recovery), not android recovery, right?

Let us know if you figure this one out!
