Yeah I think I'll just wipe data and cache when I update again... How do you get google sync to restore apps? I just plain don't want to pay for TB :p

Menu> Settings> Privacy> "Back up my data" and "Automatic Restore"...

Also, for Apps.. appbrain application is awesome! Insurance, as I like to put it... :P (More info at appbrain.com)...

Only thing you don't get back is data... progress/score in games.. text messages, etc.

Best way to back up data other than texts? Thanks in advance, sorry for all the ?'s :)

Anything specific you need to back up? Or just data for all of your apps? (If you want data for all of your apps, you'll need something like MyBackup or Titainium to do it.
If you can re-configure things, then no backup necessary. I just .sbf'd last night (again) while testing, and did everything from scratch without backups.. it's not so bad.. :)

That's where you run into problems. Mixing up data from different roms. I use titanium backup only for the game data. Not the app, data only

This is what I'm going to try, Thanks guys! TB won't be near as tedious now lol

Drod, on Twitter didn't you say that you were using a different framework for the next ROM?

He did, but that was so last week ;)

He found something he didn't like with the new framework so went back to the same framework that the previous builds are built on but he's changing the tweaks. What this means is that the original themes for Rubix Focused will work on Rubix Focused 1.9.0, albeit they might require some small updates rather than complete rewrites.

Rubix 1.90 - do we have a new ETA? :)

Tomorrow. I'm still waiting on some reports, and I'm swamped with hw. I'll probably tweet a link after I finish some last minute stuff in the afternoon and a post tomorrow nightish, or just wait till tomorrow night.

Does anyone know why after installing this rom, my camera looks all grainy now... its taking like 1mp pictures at best... is this a normal bug is there some way around this? I heard somewhere that custom roms will hurt the quality of the camera but this is a huge difference.

Have you scrolled down through the settings to change the resolution? You could indeed have it at 1MP... I have mine at 8MP and it looks great.
