rubiX Focused 2.0.1: UPDATED

Been running the Interactive governer on boot using your method with no problems so far. Anything new on compatibility problems with this rom and Words with Friends?

Which rom? 2.0.1? If you have that your good to go. He updated the patch to include the ringtone fix so if you habe 2,0 you can just flash the patch and you will then be running 2.0.1
Yes, you install it like you would any other rom, the instructions are on page 1 of this thread.

Even if I downloaded the ROM and the patch already?

Mike! what if I'm on another rom and I want to flash 2.0.1, can I just flash it or do I need to flash the 2.0 first?

As long as you grab the 2.0.1 rom and not the patch, you can go straight to 2.0.1.

Coming from another rom, make sure you wipe data and cache. And a backup is always a good idea.

Just upgraded to 2.0.1 last night. I'm still having issues with the 'Words with friends' app force closing.

WwF is just a piece of crap application. Crashes constantly on my Rubix Focused 2.0.1 and my wife's stock htc incredible. And judging by the reviews, everyone else's devices as well.

I wiped to go to 2.0(focused) then applied the patch,(no wipe) everything seemed fine until my video record would force close, then 2.0.1 came out I applied with no wipe, now gmail force closes, are these issues from my process or bad installs, or rom?

Hate to use you as an example, but THIS is why a data wipe is completely and fully recommended, regardless.

The patch is different. The video record force closing is weird, and would likely just need a force stop and clear data under settings/manage applciations. Same with the gmail issue, though.

I still recommend a data wipe, from 1.9.7, to 2.0, to 2.0.1, to 2.0.x to 2.x... if it doesn't say required, please, heed the warning, at least :)

Any issues, do a data wipe next time. If the issues are still present, then it's a bug on my part.

edit: Please don't think I'm picking on you or anything. I'm simply pointing out that issues MAY occur if no wipe is done, and this was a good example, especially since you accepted the possibility of it being a mess up on my end, your end, or possibly both. It's partly my fault, since I never said to wipe between 2.0 and 2.0.1, although it shouldn't be necessary. I think I just need to update the gmail app that installs, since I have it install to data on the first boot, it probably overwrites the newer one, causing a data/cache issue between the two.

The camcorder does not work it records but when I play it back there is no pic. I just flashed it tonight so what can I do

Select that notification. It should bring up an option to "Allow"

I tried and it says retry or cancel... Thats the only thing it gives. And I am successfully logged In to my gmail account. I tried going to the app and it just loads the signing in page until I get annoyed and exit.
