rubiX Focused 2.0.1: UPDATED

I don't remember if this was brought up in earlier posts or not, but can I still use jrummy's overclock app to overclock and undervolt and also use terminal emulator to set the governor to conservative, or will they conflict with each other?

Ok it works now for some reason. My phone ran out of juice and turned off so I put it on my dock for a few min until I could turn it back on then from to dock I recorded a small vid and played it back just fine. Maybe just had to do shut down. But anyway great job on the rom it runs the best on my phone then any other rom.

Drod! Your name should have been Mr DroidX.....This is only my second rom, my first was from the Fission team. Was thinkin that it was fast but hey theirs no comparison. rubiX Focused 2.0.1 is sooooooooo fast, its like having a new phone and its so user friendly. I'm a green horn with this stuff, flashed 2.0.1 2hrs ago, wireless tethered it to my desktop pc with Internet sharing with 2 other laptops! Like its on and poppen Bro! no problems.... I didn't change a thing, the overclockin and setting the governors, later for that.......You do have some Cheese coming. Keep up the good work.....

Does anyone have a hack that can be used to enable a timeout period for a pin unlock screen?

My job exchange server has a pin lock requirement that's enforced when connecting to the server. On rubix and other non-blurry roms, this means that even if my screen turns off for 1 second, I have to re-enter my pin.

I'm actually using ApeX 1.4.1 right now because of this. Well, ApeX is a great rom, but I was loving Rubix.

I thought some earlier aosp style roms still had the timeout setting in them, unless that was just because there was still that little bit of blur stuck in there.

Thanks for any help...

I'm up and running. I too love the rom! Very nice work. This maybe a stupid question but is there a way to add color to the dock icons? I looked in preferred but didn't see any options for it.
Tia,

Ok I can only veiw what I record through landscape mode and I only can hear what I've recorded in portportrait mode. Is it a bug or just the way it is.

I'm sorry if this has already been answered, but I am not completely clear on this point: Are themes for Liberty 1.5 and rubiX Focused 2.01 interchangeable? In other words, can a Liberty 1.5 theme be installed on rubiX Focused 2.01 without opening a rift in the very fabric of space time?

Rubix ROCKS !!!!

Updated from 1.9.7 to 2.0.1 – Man I love this ROM !!! (been running 1.9.7 for about 3 mths)
I did the Wipe Cache Partition not a completed Data Wipe
After install I had a little Gmail glitch but a App-Manage application-Gmail – Clear cache fixed that
Reinstalled DX-Fission Camera (personal preference)
Set governor to interactive
No issues. No app issues, no theme issue, no Corp-Email issues, no ADW issues. This ROM is Solid !!!
I read on this forum several users had issues with FM not working so i figured i would check mine. It doesn’t work either but doesn’t concern me because I never use it.

Okay I don't know what's wrong here but I am getting TERRIBLE battery life with 2.0 & 2.0.1. I've been flashing rubix since his first dx rom and I've never seen it this bad. When I flashed 2.0 from 1.9.7 there was big difference in my battery. On 1.97 I used quick clock to oc and it was perfect.

With 2.0 & 2.0.1 I'm stilling using quick clock but with the conservative governor and somehow my battery is way worse. Any time I flash a rom I always wipe data and cache, plus I've reflashed 2.0.1 again with the same results.

After 3 hours with virtually no use (one 10 min call and two text msgs) my battery is @ 78%. Normally with that usage I'm in the low 90s with an on-demand governor.

Any body have any ideas?
