Seidio Case

These case do not work with the stock DOCK for the droid do they? What solutions did you find for this?

or from what I understand the seido docks work with these cases.

I hope no offense is received, but without reading 88 pages of a thread..

I've been looking closely to this item on Amazon.com and it appears to be the most solid case for the Droid. It also seems to be confirmed in this thread that it's great.

My only question is, does anyone not recommend this case? If so.. why not?

If by "info" you mean user complaints about cases not fitting... well, those are everywhere throughout this thread, unfortunately.

If by "info" you mean an explanation for these problems from Seidio that made much sense at all... well, look elsewhere. You won't find one here. :\

I received my case about 2 wks ago and it fits perfectly and looks sharp....I love it! In contrast I finally got my wife a droid last Monday and instead of ordering another seidio we went to a verizon store kioske (?) And bought her a case from them. Its not a seidio. Put it on and will not clip on 1 corner.....its junk....we have to go back and try to get a new one....I want to order her a seidio but she wants to try again

I wouldn't be able to answer that. :\ I ordered mine back at the beginning of January. Still trying to get this whole thing straightened around. Beautiful case... but almost not worth the hassle.

Wait until Monday evening for an answer to that question. If seidioseidio hasn't given you an answer, post it again and see if Seidio can give you a clear answer.

Just joined, and 88 pages?? wow.....i hope this isn't a repeat but can you dock the droid on the multimedia desk charger w/out having to take off the seidio case?? couldn't do it with the body glove case (literally got it the same time as the droid so i didn't know any better) *bows head in shame*

Already have. If my replacement was shipped out last week as I was told it would, it should arrive Monday or Tuesday.

Just so that you know, you can search the thread using the "search opthis thread" link next to rating. This was just answered like 5 posts ago and multiple times in these 80 pages

The case doesn't fit with the OEm dock but seidio makes both a desktop and car dock that are compatible. Or if you use another dock, you will need to remove the back of the case which actually comes of pretty easily for me. I have a third party dock that also has a slot to charge a spare battery and I just snap off the back and open the slider a tad and all is well.

To those asking about getting a case that doesn't fit, it makes sense to me if you order from a vendor besides direct from a seidio, you increase the risk of getting a case from the bad batch. SeidioSeidio would know better of course, I'm just guessing. He has already stated that Seidio of course is shipping the fixed version. I ordered mine 1.5 weeks ago from seidio and it fits fine fwiw.

Yea i ordered two of the cases recently and they both fit wonderfully. I can tell they did change the logo on the back to a etched in one...instead of just the white lettering.

I got it in black three days ago.
I have a mirror screen protector on if you're wondering.

• Doesn't have a drilled hole in the back
• Doesn't snap/pop off when you aren't trying to
• Doesn't squeak when the top is pushed down
• Doesn't block off any buttons
• Doesn't affect the top layer of the keyboard
• Doesn't have a crappy white logo
• Doesn't collect lint
• Doesn't scratch any part of the phone, not even the Verizon logo

I recommend black because it matches all of the backgrounds, but get your favorite color if you want
