Seidio Case

But that seems like a lot to go through just to get a case to fit a phone. It doesn't seem like it should be this difficult. Is there a case that doesn't take multiple tries to fit right?

So only the top piece was fixed? I still have an issue with my back piece moving on the bottom right corner. I talked to someone at Seidio like 3 weeks ago when they said they were working on fixing it, but I haven't heard any news.

Is there a comparison or a review or anything for the Seidio case versus the Verizon silicon case?

I have the Verizon case but the top tab broke so the top part no longer stays on. It's been over a month since I bought the case so I don't know if Verizon is willing to replace it. If not, then i don't know whether I should get a Seidio or another verizon one.

If I'm not mistaken, I coulda swore I seen another thread where someone was complaining that the top of their Seidio came off! lol I'm almost positive it was a Seidio case too....

There is a thread somewhere too where they compare cases I think...and discuss what ones are good and what not...

Ok I am officially on the Seidio top pops off list. I ordered on 1/26 and received my blues innocase yesterday. Bottom fit perfectly Top springs across the room when I let it go. Tabs don't grab. Email Seidio yesterday. Shame that this is still an issue.

I placed an order for the Innocase about a week ago, and it should be here on Monday. I am hoping that it will be the revised case based on info received from this thread and the Seidio rep.

Hey hows it going, i purchased my seidio black innocase back in december for my Droid and it was shipped on dec 16. All was well when i recieved and i loved my case. Its been an awesome case until today hehe. I was pulling it out of my pocket and my Droid slipped out of my hand and hit the floor. It was quite traumatic there for a few seconds, but the phone was saved thanks to this case. However, the 2 tabs that the top part of the case by the power button were broken off on the impact. Does anyone know if seidio will send just the top piece out and if something like this is covered on their warranty? or do i need to buy a new case. For now i've switched back to my bodyglove, but it is THICK.

I just recived my black Innocase Surface today. The top dosent fit the tabs by the mic do not hold at all. That is not my only problem with the case I recived there is some type of adhesive on the edges of both pices, look cleanable. The is also an extra hole in the bottom pice by the cutout for the power button and headphone jack. This hole looks like it was drilled in the case it is not coated like the rest of the case and is very rough.

I have emailed the forum stores support address.

what is with their quality control (or lack thereof)?

i came close to pulling the trigger on 100$ worth of innocase accessories for my droid (and would have if they had still been offering free shipping), but i can't justify the exorbinate pricetag with all these complaints cropping up.

oh well.. anyone got any other case recommendations?

ordered my Blue Innocase last night even though I dont have my droid yet. I just want to be sure it is protected right when I get it. (work construction) I payed for fedex 2 day but it turns out FedEx wont deliver on Saturday. I should have researched before I payed extra.:icon_ cry:

I just bought one and am literally having the exact same problem of the tabs by the mic not holding at all

putting aside my dead battery that i received.

today i finally had some time to play with the spring clip / holster that i bought also in the same purchase:

this one, I thought it would fit nicely with the cut outs at the top so that it's molded to the top rim, but sadly, it just sits there with big gaps in between.

I rate the material used for the case and clip itself though, however i cannot rate the rotating mechanism where it feels like it's going to snap off any minute.

all in all, not exactly pleased with $30 spent, not to mention the dead extended battery and the does not fit battery door.

first purchase, three items, 2 faulty and 1 not pleased.

I dont understand why all the praises for seidio products.

As for me, I think I'm just gonna stay with my PDair pouch for now, much better fit and quality, at least I'm getting some leather instead of plastic.

Thank you for your comments and we are sorry about your experience. We have identified the issue and have already corrected them. All the cases that we are shipping now (As 2/16) are the new version and shouldn't have any issues.
