Seidio Case

Got beat to the punch it appears. Mine has just arrived as well. Here are some shots with a few different angles that show the phone open. All in all it feels very very solid. Keyboard is slightly encroached on by the case (wish they had a partial cutout on that side to slide your fingers under). Otherwise, this thing is awesome.

EDIT: Ironically enough, I took these photos from my Blackberry Storm. Still waiting to ebay it. Fitting goodbye I think.

Much thinner than the Verizon one, and the fit tolerances are much better. I just threw my Verizon one in the trash.

Would you mind taking a side-by-side comparison photo of the Verizon cover with the Seido one? At last the parts that are easy to take off? I'd like to see the difference.

If anyone has both a Seidio case and has access to a Verizon case/holster combo, could you please check to see if the Droid in the Seidio case fits into the Verizon combo holster. I like the way the combo case fits into the holster instead of the spring clip arrangement of the Seidio holster.

Also, is the bold white Seidio decal/sticker removable on the back case section or is that permanent?

Not a sticker, it's part of the case. Looks like you could probably srub it off with something if you wanted. I personally like it, but don't know why.

Thanks for all the pictures I'm a 1st time poster. I have the Verizon case holster combo (not the body glove) and while i think it's very good the holster does not have a clip to lock in the case which if jarred hard enough could fall out. I ordered the Seidio case holster combo which looks like the best solution for the droid in my opinion.

I ordered the Seidio case holster combo which looks like the best solution for the droid in my opinion.

I do agree that the Seidio case looks like the best fitting case I have seen, but in my opinion the Verizon combo holster is the most secure. I can't imagine how you could get the phone to fall out of the holster. Even if you do push it out part way, it tightens for the last half inch or so. If the Seidio holster clip spring fails, the phone will fall out of the holster. I read the reviews of the Seidio case and holster for the iPhone on Amazon and some reviewers had the clip fail and their phones fall to the floor. The good thing is that they did not seem to have damage to the phones. Also, I could see that catching the clip on something that you rub against could release it. This is why I asked the question about the Seidio case fitting in the Verizon combo holster.

Mine arrived! Three words: Oh. My. God.

The hard snap-on cases that Verizon sells are pure crap compared to this. The fit and finish is AMAZING. It'll never come off my phone.

Thanks for the photos! They confirm what I really already believed, which is that Seidio makes the best cases for cell phones!

Look at the detail around the headphone jack, how they indent the portion of the case that goes on the screen (top), to allow easy access to the headphone's 3.5mm jack and on/off button.

Looks sweeet! Can't wait to get mine.

I have mine on right now and it looks amazing however I have one major issue. With the case on, it makes it more difficult to slide the keyboard out. Pretty annoying because it does not slide out easily. I'm surprised they didn't notice this... but the case looks amazing

Whow. Well, that puts a bug in the ointment.

Are other people having the same issue?

I'd suggest that if it doesn't loosen up, give 'em a call. They're very willing to solve any issues, and if this is an issue with all of the cases, if you make them aware of it, they'll perhaps tweak the design, and send out the redesigned one for free to you.

I know that they've redesigned cases in the past when a legitimate issue has arisen.

Curious if others have the same problem.

do you mean its stiffer to slide open? this is great for me, because mine slides open too easy i think.

I can't figure out what is making it difficult to slide out. I think its the hinges on the edge of the phone that is making it difficult to pull out.

Well, I received my case and the Seidio Ultimate Screen Protector tonight.

They work great!

The screen protector is smooth as glass, NO orange peel! Also, very easy to install... no need to wet it or the Droid, it stays on with static cling. seems to also show fingerprints less then the bare glass, but still shows them somewhat.

The case also is excellent. I don't have any issues opening or closing the physical keyboard. My Droid's keyboard wasn't loose to begin with, and now it still is held firmly in place when closed, but it isn't difficult to open either.

Really love this combo, as I keep my Droid in my pants pocket, and being able to simply take it out and answer a call, or look something up, without having to remove it first from a slip case (that's what I've been using up until now) is the perfect solution for my needs!

Also will work well in the car mount I have.
