[ROM] [SELFKANG ICS AOSP ROM] CM9/ICS for Droid 4 -- [BETA 03/05/2012]

Has anyone else had a problem with screebl? It hasn't worked for me since the first cm9 install, and still no luck after the latest nightly either. It doesn't detect the phone's position at all.

Those with keyboard lighting issues, set it to auto brightness and that'll solve it. Or you can toggle any kind of brightness every time you turn the screen on, and that'll turn the keyboard light on.

The problem with doing that is the screen tends to dim too much making it hard to see.

So that means its just one of the bugs that cm9 has and to just wait til a update comes out? I'm on 3/13

I don't think so. CM9 and 7 are just ROMs created from a base of GB or ICS, but they are heavily modded. To fix this video codec problem, it's gonna require the physical device, which I don't think Cyanogenmod has too many of unless they are donated, to create a flashable patch. I'm pretty sure it's hard, so a fix can't be expected very soon, but I'm sure Hashcode will try his best and fix it in time. It's just not very high priority, so he may not even be working on it yet. Cuz tbh, Netflix and YouTube isn't a necessity, but stable 3G and 4G is.

Maybe I was just spoiled by an excellent developer community, but cyanogen 7 on my Droid incredible was flawless. Everything worked as well as, or better than, a stock rom.

My point is, don't lose hope in the ingenuity of the cyanogen team. Their goal has always seemed to be a complete stock replacement rom, that means everything that you'd expect a stock rom to do, cyanogen does, and on 7, that was definitely what they accomplished!

By the way, I installed 3/18 tonight, my wifi/3g looping seems solved, or at least much improved.

I have cm7 on my d2g and IMO that was one of the best phones ever..the keyboard felt solid not cheap plastic, it sat in my hand comfortly but it was just sloooooooow..the themes however was awesome tho..I just like having something I'm not supose to, like applepie moonshine:biggrin:

I have over clocked the D4 to 1430 MHz on this rom an running stable an is frickin fast as hell it becomes unstable at 1450 MHz I haven't tried 1440 MHz but I will to see if it works

Edit: 1440 MHz works an is stable becomes unstable after 1445 MHz
