See this is why I should stop entering bongathons.
I had no clue postings have been continuing in this thread.
I wish DF would email me on posts consistently...
Big Red meant verizon, Alien, I thought you were working for them.
Must have confused with someone else from our old days in teeny tiny chat.
Actually, Bongman is just the nickname Zsa (owner of the other forum we are both on) gave to me.
But on all forums, I use my native american name. Created initially for playing Zonk back in college.
But everyone uses it differently, like a Rorschach test but with words, or abstract art:
Bongs
Crazy MoFo
Dances
Shaft....shut yo mouth
Richard M. Nixon
DWB
Phantom of the Oprah
Hold Me Close Now, Bongy Dancer
Blob Marley, when I had put on some pounds (just kidding, made that one up)
Bongman
Immature
and my fave
Cretin

After many failed attempts flashing this rom with CW I finally switched to RZ and after a couple failed attempts with RZ I finally flashed it............had to flash 2.0, then flash the update.zip to get 2.2. (Yes I wiped 3x). I've been wanting this rom for a long time.
The first thing I like doing is changing the theme............how do I do this? I went to settings and went and found the themes and tried installing, it opens the terminal emmulator and tries to install the theme. After it complete nothing happens........I noticed it says "not found" but it installs something...........I tried galaxy s, rockin rainbows and black out.......any suggestions?

check your system memory . less than 10 megs is bad. if it downloads and shoots you out to reocvery. if your using clockwork it will do everything automated. if you are using sprecovery or rzr when it shoots you out to recovery you need ot install update zip just as if you were installing a rom.
let me know if this doesn thelp and well blame gflam some more

I have 45megs available. It does not shoot me into recovery. Here is what the terminal emmulator says:
$ export PATH=/data/local/bin:$PATH
$su
# Installing Galaxy S Theme
Installing: not found
# sourcery_install -t14
Connecting to files.sourceryrom.com (82.197.130.40:80)
update.zip 100% |***********| 8274k --:--:-- ETA
It doesn't shoot me into recovery.
How do these themes work? Is it supposed to download a zip file and I'm supposed to install?

Hi, I've heard good things but haven't tried yet. I'm still on gb but might come back to froyo. Do you have screen shots somewhere that I'm missing?

that all looks good. the themes are large they take a while to download the % is not correct it will say 100% quite a while before its finished downloading. thats terminals problem. but after its downloaded it should reboot your phone into recovery. if you are on spre or rzr you need to choose install update.zip if your using clockwork it will reboot install and reboot to the os no interaction needed at all.

It worked! Guess I just had to be patient, "magic takes time"......I just saw 100% and assumed it was complete........thanks.
One more thing, I saw screen shots of the lock screen with the magician hat. Is that a theme ?
