Squidly 2.3.20.1 stock squidly and full blur

i had your 2.3.20 and then did sbf data cache wipe then install through clockwork, worked good at first except the fast batt drain, then i reflashed and got a reboot a lot. couldnt even hook up to pc to run sbf for like 20 mins cuz of the reboot problem.

sbf in progress now... ill keep you posted :)

the 2.3.20 squidly was working flawless, i just wanted to try the new versoin lol

After sbf sbf let the market update your apps then reinstall, I haven't seen that behavior so keep me informed.

Has anybody else experienced this personally I've been getting great battery life and no fcs at all. Im just inquiring.

I installed 2.3.20.1 over 2.3.20. Personally I had no issues with install, no issues running your full blur version since release and my battery life is excellent. I am running at 1.3oc and everything is smooth as can be, honestly, no issues at all. Thanks

Ive been experiencing the great battery life. Currently working on themes for this ROM since I told you I would.. good ol' photoshop ...

I had a problem with my alarm this morning. Turns out..i was just snoozing it because i had that increasing volume option on. Turned off.. lol. Now I wake up to it just fine :)

It's not in my system tray at the top but idc about that.. i know it is set for every day.. and on lock screen it says its there...
definitely best yet for battery life squidly... i got over a day with it... don't use it at work but still. it was usually dead pretty fast. You planning to do anything for gingerbread and d2? I have the android SDK and developer tools on my computer now. Download 2.3 SDK files and was going to try and "port" your rom up to 2.3.. however, I'm having problems gettin Android Emulator to work.

So I downloaded the full blur - works great. I liked the nexthemes icon and color scheme better, but all is well. Only I didn't fully follow instructions and lost all my contacts besides the facebook ones that synced up :( my own fault, I know

Question though, I installed the stock one first, then did the full blur, I saw no changes besides the launcher pro function issues - what is the difference btwn stock and fb? AND can I just reinstall the stock?

You can switch between the two without flashing roms just using scripts go to gscripts press full blur for full blur and stock squidly for stock squidly,or you can use terminal emulator fullblur ,stocksquidly.

As for your contacts try going to my accounts gmail uncheck the 3 then recheck them to resync I know exchange has problems syncing but that's with everything.gmail should be fine.

negative.

i do have the "alarm not showing in the notification area" thing.

On boot up it flashes for a quick moment then hides.
I set the alarm while it was docked and in the dock screen.
I went to Alarm & Timer app and unchecked/rechecked the alarm and now it shows. This isn't by any means a problem - it still goes off, it still shows the alarm on the lock screen. /shrug

It has been reported elsewhere that people are having issues with the stock rom locking up, randomly rebooting, or not waking up (but will if you let it go for long enough). It's in the moto forums if anyone wants to hunt.

I have had great battery life and no fc issues with 2.3.20 or 2.3.20.1. I have had (rarely) the issues affecting the device overall. /shrug :greendroid:

I tried the rechecking in the gmail accounts but to no avail. This is my doing, so I'll just have to deal w/ it. One question not answered though, what is the diff btwn stock squid and fb squid? Sorry, I'm pretty new to this stuff
Also* if I have purchased launcher pro, and try/use adw launcher, can I use the gscripts reinstall launcher pro later?

Thanx

Stock has little to no blur. Blur has all of the blur apps. Stock will probably net you some better performance.

Phone is real laggy

Hey Squid,

I had installed your 2.3.2 straight from the SBF and everything was super smooth and no problems. I had Blk Glass installed over it and it was great. I then loaded the 2.3.2.1 and then blk glass. Worked great for a few days then, today all of a sudden, real laggy coming out of sleep and then not very responsive at all. Not sure what the deal is but I went back to 2.3.2 and it seems to be just as laggy.

Well after a sbf and install of 2.3.20 was fine, so I flashed 2.3.20.1 right over it with no wipes just mounted sys and data. So far workin like a charm.

Pullin 2500 on quadrant with the new rom! Now just gotta get the gscript checked out!

Not sure what happened before but it was whacky! Lol

Yeah, Mine never installed. Is there an APK for this within the SDCARD somewhere? Just curious. Honestly, only thing I wanted to do was try the 1.3 OC since I've seen multiple people report awesome batt. life even while overclocked.
