I am a cancer survivor and I know what it is like to have the Grim Reaper at your door.
Every day you wake up is a blessing, but you know you are sharing it with the Reaper.
You fight the good fight and live life till you answer the door.
Good fight Steve....

R.I.P. Steve - you revolutionized everything we do with your vision. Like Apple or not, you made the others change to keep up with your products. Thanks.

Rest in peace Mr. Jobs. You're in good hands now.

From great competition comes great innovation.

Steve Jobs provided that for android.
You will be missed.

We would not be where we are today without you.

Rest in Peace Mr. Jobs.
The genius of our time, and a man that truly changed society for everyone. His Apple II started a revolution that would eventually put a CPU on EVERY desktop in America.

Thank you for connecting our World!!!!

Steve Jobs in his own words..

I'll always stay connected with Apple. I hope that throughout my life I'll sort of have the thread of my life and the thread of Apple weave in and out of each other, like a tapestry. There may be a few years when I'm not there, but I'll always come back..

-- Steve Jobs, 1985

Very sad news. From the bottom of my Android-loving heart... thank you. And rest in peace.

This is very sad. To think that we would not be here taking Android with out Steve's passion for his own Apple idevices. Steve you will be missed.

Writing an article about Steve Jobs on a Droid forum is typically uncalled for, but this, we have to do. Today the founder and previous CEO of Apple passed away; one day after his latest iOS device was released. This is a really shocking and sad news to write about. I cannot help but feel like a big part of the mobile world has gone with him. He really did some great things, things we in the Android world, are truly benefiting from --iPad, iPhone, and iOS.

Please keep this thread positive and share your thoughts below.

I didn't know the guy but I still feel like I'm mourning. It is always sad to lose such a visionary. He was an amazing, imaginative person and we are all benefiting from his creative genius. Rest in peace, Steve.

To those of you who know who Steve Jobs is, let's take a moment of silence out of our lives to reflect on some of his greatest achievements. For those of you who don't know who he is, you may own one of his products if you own a iPhone, iPod and/or Apple computer. Steve Jobs co-founded Apple Inc., served as chief executive of Pixar Animation Studios and as a member of the board of directors for Walt Disney Company. On August 24, 2011 Steve Jobs announced his resignation as Apple's CEO, only to past away roughly two weeks. We've lost a great person, one that some might refer to as a modern-day Leonardo Da Vinci.
