Steve Jobs Has Passed Away!

It makes my soul joyful to see that in the time that our competitors are down, we as a community truly show what we are about!
THANK YOU Mr Jobs for all you have done. I admire and respect the person you were and all you have given us. May God be with you, your family and loved ones. RIP!

I was never a fan of Steve Jobs, but nobody deserves to die so young. At the very least, he was brilliant and accomplished more in his shortened life than most will in their full life.

RIP

The Impact Steve Jobs had on the entire tech world is undeniable. RIP.

RIP Steve Jobs. One of the brightest minds the world has ever seen. This man pioneered so much of what we take for granted today

competition makes everybody better. And we as consumer benefit the most. I would also go as far as to say that if it weren't for the original iPhone, the android devices we love so much may have never existed

he accomplished more by 25 than most can dream to accomplish in their lives. His life story is truly inspiring to anybody, Apple fan or not. Adopted by middle-class parents, dropped out of college, co-founded Apple in his early 20s, booted from his own company by the CEO he hired. Bought Dreamworks, made Toy Story. Bought Next, developed the software that would become the new iOS later. Got back into Apple as the company was failing and engineered it's comeback with the software he developed at Next to the huge market takeover today. Sold Dreamworks to become the largest individual shareholder of Disney. The man is a HUGE success story 4 times over. It's just unheard of

As the world awakens thismorning and hearing the news of Steve's passing, listening to the radio, every single station I have listened to, the announcers and callers express the impact that this one man has made on their lives and the contributions he has made, especially for us old enough to have grown up with Apple since its inception, it makes us take a look back on our own lives and ambitions we may have had in earlier days... as I was listening to all the praise that was given to Steve, one song popped into my head that I found very befitting..

He made life easier, he fueled the competition and he made me believe how one person can def change the world. He made the world, 'Think differently'.

R.I.P. Steve Jobs

You know I can't really believe how much this news if affecting me, I never met the guy personally, I don't know anything about him other than what we can read publicly, I mean I have always admired his work and what not. But I feel like I lost a friend, I guess it stems from my passion that I have obtained from my phone.

I feel the exact same way. I view Apple products like the Opera, I don't really like it, but I can recognize when someone is good at singing.

I've always admired the Apple products and for as weird as Jobs appeared to be some times, including incredibly arrogant, his products backed that up, and so he kind of deserved it in my eyes.

I've been watching alot videos lately, especially some older Steve jobs videos, and it almost makes me wish I was an Apple Fanboy, Steve Jobs was an awesome ingeneous man. He will be missed. Also as much as I love android, I really hope Apple doesn't suffer from this, competition is essential and there are thousands of Apple employees who I hope are not affected (employmentwise).

He will be missed.

It gives me the warm and fuzzies to see the Android community putting their passions aside and voicing their respect for Steve Jobs.

I am both an Apple and Android fan. Heck, I even appreciate Windows. Never been a fanboy and have always admired each for its strengths. With that being said, I've admired Steve Jobs highest among the other great technological geniuses of our time. His devotion and creativity was unparalleled. People can say what they will about his leadership style, his personality, etc. But, the man had changed the world for the better by never giving up on his vision.

It is a sad day. A shame to see him go at such a young age. But, the brightest flame dies quickest. And he accomplished more than some could accomplish in a hundred life times.

RIP Steve

No matter what you think of his company or its products, there's no denying the immeasurable effect he's had on all of our lives. The world has lost a truly legendary innovator.

Thanks for all you did, Steve. RIP.

I was shocked when I found out about Mr. Jobs. He will be missed by many. Hopefully Apple's vision will continue to rise, and with that competition will continue to get better, namely Android.

A Very Sad Day Indeed

Why does it happen so often that people with a great vision die too early? I guess that saying is sometimes true, "The candle that burns twice as bright, burns twice as fast."

Mr. Jobs will be missed, but we should let his example inspire us to create more vision in our own lives. Each of us can make an impact in the world. We just need to practice the kind of focus and discipline that Steve exemplified.
