Swype beta 5612 expired?

If you post requests for the update or post links to the update - folks are gonna get some time off. Those who were part of the official beta test got an email around the 8th of June to go pick up their new copy. The installer link knows if you are part of their program and installs the app for you. Any other method of getting the app is not condoned by DF.

If you are part of the team, check your trash/in/spam box for email from Swype from around that date.

And I agree with everyone else. I just want to send Swype 5 bucks and be done with it expiring on me.

Never mind everyone. I just got the message about not posting the link. Anyway, I found it, I'm sure you can too if you look hard enough.

I'm part of the beta and installed the new one but it says this is not registerd for this device or something and swyping doesn't work...kind of annoying...

I got that last week, install again, it eventually works. make sure the installer and swype is uninstalled from the previous version.
 
Man, I'm going through Swype withdrawal. I just wish they' put it on the market already....I'd pay just about any amount to get it back. :(

tried this 3 times making sure everything was completely uninstalled and same message...grrr...swype withdrawal is tough!

That sucks. Are the alternatives any good?

I just messaged my friend and it still works on her Nexus. Droid users get screwed every which way.

shapewriter sucks.. The input is too fast and doesnt give you enough time to finsh your words, so it combines the letters. I just installed slide it and that seems ok.. much better than shapewriter (unless I there is a setting I missed to slow down the input)

Thanks frot eh advice in the other thread... Although I couldnt figure out how to reinstall. Oh well
