The Bill just arrived

Yeah...thats a pretty standard discount for Federal and State employees and some other professional type folks. Personally I just wish they would set up a system that rewards loyalty and paying the bill on time...what a concept :icon_ devil:
THIS is an awesome idea - Loyalty and paying the bill on time TOTALLY deserved soemthing.

Actually, it's a horrid idea- haha. Well, in business terms it is. You already get a "loyalty" discount when you sign up for 2 years and get a discounted phone. But a discount for paying your bills on time? Only in America would people want to be treated special for paying bills on time :icon_ banana:

You know they don't actually lose money on giving people discounted phones right? As if it's not built into the fee structure....

The only way they lose money on discounted phones is when people cancel their contracts early, and with ETF, they're set. Companies like Verizon/AT&T/T-Mobile, whatever, screw people over everyday, why not get a little discount for putting up with that year after year?

My bill is about the same as it was with my Voyager. Mind you, I had the Navigation, City ID, TV and Visual Voice Mail in that thing. The Data plan figured out to be about the same.

Well i hope my bill is less. I went from $45 data plan to $30 but added the insurance.

My employer has a discount however the verizon account is in my girlfriends name. Can we get the discount????

You would need to put the account in your name seeing as though your the one who works for the company that gets the discount.

Our monthly bill went down about a hundred a month after dropping 2 phones from our account, changing the remaining two $45 data plans to $30 data plans, plus dropping VZNavigator on two phones. Not to mention, adding the employee discount from my hubby's company. Happy Happy Joy Joy.
