[ROM] The CM7 Gingerbread ROM (CM4D2-GB) is now ready for prime time!

Is there an sbf for the gb ota yet?

From a Droid 2 in flux.

I just read that the ota downloads to the cache directory and you can swap the zip to your sd card if you have root explorer...not sure if this helps as the info was for a rooted droid 2 global. But it may be worth a shot

It's just simply the best man. I absolutely love this rom. Just don't restore data from apps and be careful using jakes mods and v6. Jakes mod installs busybox 1.19, but v6 needs 1.18.2 or less so if you wanna run both, use jrummys busybox installer app to downgrade your busybox. I've had to sbf twice before being able to use all the mods I'm used to while not bootlooping! It was worth it tho, it's set up real nice now!

I've been on Liquid for the past couple days running jakes mods and v6 script with no problems with busybox 1.19. Maybe I'm just lucky or maybe I'm due for an sbf soon:) Just thought id share.

Of course I could be wrong but it seemed that whenever I ran all these mods I would need to sbf due to bootloops. It could be something else that I did but ever since I did what I did with busybox, all is on point.

Jake's mod includes v6 in the modcentral script. He installs 2 versions of busybox to allow v6 to work properly. (Unless you're using an old version of Jake's mod, in which case you should go get v12 of his mod.)

That link isn't working...

Thanks!

BTW, if you download it from the GetJar app, and then fire up a file browser at the Permissions screen, you can copy the APK from here:

/data/data/getjar.android.client/files

The name is unintelligible, but it'll end in .apk, and you can tell the app from the icon.
Once you install or cancel the installation, the file is removed.

But WHY? There would be no need to do something like that unless you intended on distributing pirated copies..... That violates several laws as well as being just plain unethical.
