JRummy just tweeted that he was going to start working on Liberty now that ROM Toolbox is done.

Just wanted to add the new toolbox is freaking sweet!

It's an option in the options menu that's defaulted on to auto backup when you download an app. At least that's how it is in the app manager he put into Rom Toolbox. I assume it's the same for the stand alone app.

Yeah I figured it was the ROM doing this..I just suddenly have after a year and a half..sd full...need to finally format it...By the way....If you guys didn't hear....The drummer may be going to the prime or razor when its out...I just got word of my upgrade being up for a special early upgrade to 4g of my choice + 150 towards device..even though I have no 4g in my area..lol thoughts?

Lots of new commits for the next nightly, including:

Keyboard Slide Unlock (2/2) (android_packages_apps_CMParts)
Keyboard Slide Unlock (1/2) (android_frameworks_base)

which give the option to unlock the phone when the physical keyboard slides out. Other than that, nothing specific to the D2, but there's some cool stuff in there. At least one of the ideas in the list seem to have come from the ICS event:

CMParts: Show share menu after taking screenshot (android_packages_apps_CMParts)
framework: Show share menu after taking screenshot (android_frameworks_base)

Nis said that he has one more change that needs to go through in order for the slide-to-unlock works, but he was waiting for the base changes to submit the override change:

Having trouble with some apks. I found this link from xda Complete Collection of ICS Apps for Android 2.2+ - xda-developers and i have already unistalled the market app with TIB but the ICS market (3.2) will not install.

actually i haven't been able to get any of them to install. I'm trying to uninstall now with ROM Toolbox App Manager.

update - able to get music, maps, and G+ installed, and street view installed. still can't get market. working.

update2 - So i restored market with TIB, then removed it with jrummy's App Manager. Then I was able to install it with Astro.

The market ended up FC'ing everytime I used it. I reverted back to 3.1.5. The new google music is nice, as is Google +. The others don't have any visual differences that I can tell.

I also found this CM7 theme to complete the look. It is very nice. [Theme] Ice Cream Sandwich for CM7: Alpha 2 Updated: 10/19/2011 - xda-developers'm also using this theme for ADW https://market.android.com/details?id=kov.theme.ics&feature=search_result

I installed the Roboto font (ICS stock font) from jrummy's Font Installer. I'm also using the "Honey" lockscreen from Liquid Settings. It's about as close to ICS as I can get it for now. At least until they release the source code, and I can get the stock ICS launcher (a boy can dream!).

Shouldn't be a long wait for ICS, according to this:
Android AOSP source code back online with a new home | Android Central

* GB AOSP code tree is back on line
* Gerrit and gitweb are being worked on
* ICS code will be released when an ICS device is released

The market, I had to push it into /system/apps then change the permissions on it to get it to work. The others I had to uninstall via JRummy's App Manager, then install using the apk file. I did get them all installed though.
