[ROM] The CM7 Gingerbread ROM (CM4D2-GB) is now ready for prime time!

Where is the color changer for the battery bar in cm7? For some reason it's yellow. Which, btw looks pretty weird with my ICS theme.

From Nis in the Dev Thread at Rootzwiki:

"Sorry about the battery bar color option being gone. The talk on gerrit was against that since colors should be set by themes. I added an override for Androidian and Cyanbread but other themes will need to be modified.

I liked the option to set the color but it was unlikely to get accepted that way. :( "

So, anyone play with the new liberty? I know ldopa did...lol How's the new cm7..I'm not going to worry anymore with upgrades....I will just enjoy what I have!? Lol the D2 is one beast of a machine...So, I'm still very fortunate...I'm just going to start buying older devices...for the addiction. Say a tbolt..and D3 and all....This way I will always have multiple flagship toys...who cares if it just came out or not? Hell I want to flash!!

Thanks Havens. I rolled back to 1019 anyway. The ICS theme must not have the battery bar right. It can out yellow. It looked bad.

Not that I recall, but then again, I didn't spend too much time with the rom. No themes or customization. I'm spoiled by cm. I'll definitely try it again as it improves. They are great devs.

I reloaded it and must say, its pretty sweet. The market issues must have been a fluke for me. Its just enough Blur to keep HDMI, but with AOSP for looks, functionality and speed. I wish Liberty settings was more than just changing the lockscreen though.

Domenic, I'd recommend Boot Manager, since I know you are like me when it comes to ROMs. That way you can test all the ROMs you want and if you don't like em, just boot back to CM7 and delete the slot. If anything goes wrong, it reverts to CWR if you pull the battery so you don't have to sbf.

Ok this part caught my attention. No SBF for real!?

As long as you don't mess anything up on your base ROM, you don't need to sbf. Make a backup of your base ROM, and if you do screw up something on one of the ROMs on your SD, or something goes wrong, just pull the battery. It is programmed to load Clockwork Recovery and you can.just flash your backup. Then you're good to go!

That is kind of cool. I might have to check it out. I usually only SBF to jump kernel versions but it is good to know that.

Brad I thought boot manager didn't work on the d2, but I just checked and it is! Dl now. It's a great app.

Yeah, it has been working on the D2 for a while now. I DLed it a while back, and still haven't even used it. I've been so busy the last few weeks, I haven't had time to mess with my phone much. :(
