[ROM] The CM7 Gingerbread ROM (CM4D2-GB) is now ready for prime time!

I just bought it and it's not working. It just keeps trying to load. Frustrating!

Edit: ok now it's OK. Woot!

Haha yeah, I got pissed first boot too, but after that its really fast. Change the screen timeout to 30 minutes and don't touch it when its installing. A true successful install should be 10+ minutes and it will show it mount the IMG files and unzip apks.

Make sure you have a backup of your base ROM in case anything goes wrong.

It said it made a backup of my phone rom (cm7), but when I check in the folder, it's an update zip (0 bytes). Shouldn't it have a size? Just wanted to make sure before I start booting.

I have liberty and liquid loaded now.

I meant make a nandroid backup of your base ROM with Clockwork. Boot Manager just makes a backup of the IMG files so you can boot back to your phone ROM.

You should be good to go.

IDK about for the D2, but the TBH app has an all in one .605 zip for the DX that has 1% battery increments and Nexus audio files. Its also deodexed.

Boot manager is beautiful. I'm so happy the d2 is supported. To celebrate, I've removed my crappy screen protector and am now typing on my smooth, silky, virgin gorilla glass (homer drooling...)

So I booted into liberty and then to come back to cm, I hit phone rom and hit OK when it said "boot null"? Is the cm I'm on now my actual phone rom or an img on my sd of my phone rom (I want to be back to Normal).

It says Boot Null when you try to boot to your Phone ROM. It is installed on your internal memory. The other 4 slots are on your SD. You can go to manage installed ROMs and change the ROM names.

My phone has never had a screen protector and my phone screen is perfect. ;)
