Last I heard, the official build only runs on the Froyo kernel. I'd be happy if that was no longer true!

No yeah still need help, those drivers are just for USB charging. So I installed the drivers, but cant put stuff on my phone. The computer thinks it a CD rom

Yes, official builds are still on Froyo kernel as far as I know. Some people are working on that still for the DX and D2 though.
