[ROM] The CM7 Gingerbread ROM (CM4D2-GB) is now ready for prime time!

Alright guys y'all seem to know what your talking about, so what is the best ota based rom for battery life alone? My average day is 5:30 AM to around 11:30 or midnight. I'm on liberty 3 rc1.2 now and its barely cutting it.

Its still works...all of them do to my best knowledge, in that situation...I have tested them...

Every ROM will probably have some bugs ...but it works as it should with the ota as its almost identical of a build as leak..Many devs that made the leaked gingy ROMs werent sure so they added the warning, however now that many have had success its all good..just remember to make a backup prior to flashing, and flash manually so if something doesn't work out you can just hit the backup...Your aware however, that most of the ROMs out all have pretty much close battery life..If you want an amazing experience from a ROM built for the ota...Use Liquids 3.0...its the one I ran the longest! Fast and custimizable..Built from the Cm7 gingerbread source 2nd init ROM...Open Source is where its at!

I've actually tried liquid before and the battery was absolutely horrendous! But I loved all the customizations. I got around twice the battery on cm7.

Hmm maybe I'm doing something wrong here... ill flash 3.0 charge overnight and calibrate in the morning. But my 3.0 was worse! Could it have to do with the extende battery?

Ok. The dockbar has become annoying. The slightest swipe up on it makes it hide. After that for whatever reason its impossible to get it back. So. How do I turn that off. I'm sure there is a setting, I just can't find it

My suggestion...Wipe the whole thing...Sbf...wipe the whole thing again...update....wipe the whole thing...Liquid 3.0 before loading all your apps...reboot even before signing in...Then you will have the cleanest device south of Canada...lol Not needed but also mount system as well...when you start retrieving apps...Dont titanium any data whatsoever or, any system apps..if your droid forums app becomes a system app, delete and dl via market and sign back in....This is directions for someone who already knows all the flashing precautions as I indeed skipped all the steps..I only emphasize the wiping excessively to rid whatever may be stuck in the system..only and I mean ONLY an SBF will truly clean your phone......Peace!
