I've got my Kexec Liquid running again, it's all I need in a rom. I'm guessing kexec will be the future of roms, no more stock-kernel based roms.

Stupidly kept root enabled and tried to flash the new update. Rebooted and stuck in a boot loop. Bleh, what a pain.

Being rooted shouldn't be a problem when installing an OTA, you just simply lose it afterwards. If you applied the OTA successfully from the stock recovery system and you're in a bootloop, I would recommend performing a factory reset. It doesn't sound like you're too far down the rabbit hole yet.

Already done two factory resets and wiped the cache a few times as well. I'm going to try loading a different update zip as soon as I get the chance in the off chance that the download wasn't successful over FTP.

FWIW Recovery said it was loaded successfully.

Huh. Yeah, if it installed successfully through the stock system and you've done some resets that would be the next best step. Verizon says the update is 356MB, I downloaded the one off of MyFishBear's server and it's 355.somethingMB

I grabbed it from jsnweitzel's link. I'm not currently able to grab the md5 of the file on my phone.

If a reflash doesn't work, what would you suggest next? Just waiting out the fastboot files?

I guess so. You can't go back to ICS anymore, so if you can't get it to boot then you're going to have to wait for fastboot files.
