The "New" New Phone Rumor Mill

Nice catch... link added.

Not sure if everything he posted made it into the article (because I can't read Itialian and I don't want to take the time to translate) but here is the source of all the info.

Yeah my Italian is... not. Here is a vid from his G+ wall though:

Not much to the video but a general idea of the phone I guess.

Interesting note: I don't see any physical buttons...? Can anyone comment on whether or not the Vigor will/wont have physical buttons? Did they build software buttons into Sense 3.5 to prepare for the ICS update?

There are a LOT more videos. But to keep from spamming this "news" thread, I posted them in the HTC Vigor forum itself. I don't want to stray away from the point of this thread. Link below.

It will definitely have Physical buttons. Im saying this because of the leaked pictures.
* Look here 40856[/ATTACH]]Engadget

That thing sure is bad@$$ looking! Oops, can I say that? I apologize in advance ;)

It's like a cross-breed between a Thunderbolt and a Dinc 1 & 2. I really like the look overall. If HTC can achieve good battery life with this phone I think it's going to be very popular around here.

<Mod>
No need to apologize, you can get away with that one :p.

Did you know......

One thing I did learn after becoming a mod is that the rules of this forum state that using place holders (like **** or $^#& or $h... well you get the point) are just as bad as using the word themselves because the implication and meaning are still there. So if you are unsure of a word, it's better to replace it with something you know will be acceptable and "family friendly" than trying to censor it.

Now you know......................................and knowing is half the battle!
</MOD>

There is something about the rubbery/ruggedized back that just strikes me different. It's like the hard lines and sleek finish of some phones make me thing of a high tech Fifth Element/Minority Report Future while this phones makes me think of a Mad Max/Fallout: New Vegas future..... if that makes any sense what-so-ever.

Pork chop sandwiches?

Anyway... the phone does look 'incredible' and should definitely go with the Incredible HD name. The back kind of makes me think of the Dinc and the sport lines on the back. It's less "Mercedes and martinis" and more "70's muscle car and whiskey straight". I like the rugged look. And I agree. Definitely has that Fallout future look to it.

Got it, thanks bro.

No Problem, Chief! :cool: lol

I've never really thought about it, but I guess I'm more of a "Mercedes and Irish Whiskey" kind of guy; which doesn't make sense. It's why I had such a hard time choosing between the Galaxy Tab 10.1 for it's design and the Thrive for it's functionality (I'm thinking the sexy "Thrive 2" has solved my dilemma, we will see when it comes out). And why I still have no idea what phone I'm going to get in the next two-to-three months.

Today has been depressingly quite with respect to any of our "Rumor Phones"... our "Rones" or "Phomors"

Its been depressingly quiet as far as the Galaxy Nexus is concerned for about a week and a half. Wish someone would leak a blurry picture of the phone fighting crime or something

I guess I didn't catch the links or it was before I started keeping track... but i remember there was a period were either GT-I9210/SCH-i515/GT-I9250 passed the bluetooth or the 802.11 or both... do you remember which passed what (or at least which results were leaked... hoping they all passed everything haha)

I believe both passed both in alternating weeks or something. Either way, I think that was almost two weeks ago. The last real thing I remember hearing about the Galaxy Nexus was that it was called the Galaxy Nexus and that VZW would have another device called the Droid Prime or something. I'm still holding out for it, and with the news about what ICS is adding, I'm definitely excited
