Ok just speculation and possibilities. But i know i read at least one place where the prime was said to have a 1.5ghz exynos processor. and although it seems this may not come out in time the announcement now does give some hope.

The newer Exynos sounds extra nice for the Prime. Since T Mo didnt want the Exynos because of a 20Mbps down limit for 4G speeds...I assume either Verizon doesnt care or the newer Exynos can do faster than 20Mbps down. Cant wait to get more concrete info about the Prime.
It's very unlikely they'll go with the Exynos since they probably won't have them ready in time. Unless Samsung and Google have been keeping an Apple-tight lid on this, it's very unlikely since we only caught word of the new processor two days ago. All leaks point to OMAP processors since they work well with Verizon's LTE.

I would agree except that Samsung Announced the processor, it being ready didn't "leak out". If we were just getting leaks of it being worked on or what it was, I would agree that there is no way it would make it into the prime, but the fact that Samsung intentionally announced the chip is a different story, to me at least.

You're right, i didn't look at it that way. Honestly I would prefer a Exynos because it appears to be a beast and a power saver. Best of both worlds. My only concern is pairing it with Verizon's LTE, since we know what Moto did with the OMAP and it's performance/battery life. Nexus better be on par or better than the Bionic in the battery department and I'll be a happy camper.
