What's the mold of QB? Quarter backs aren't getting paid to throw 40 tds a season, or to throw for 4000 yards a season, or sit in the pocket; they're getting paid to win games. And if that involves using your feet as much as your arm to create opportunities then by all means do your thing.
Do you like Mike Vicky? How about Vince Young (when he was productive, not currently in Philly) if not, then why not?

Well it's generally perceived that QB throws the ball. I agree they're not getting paid to throw x amount of yards or TDs, but Tebow's style/strengths don't exactly fit the identity of a traditional QB. In his defense, neither do Vick or Young. The difference at least between Tebow and Vick is that Vick has proven he can be an accurate passer and pocket player. All 3 of these guys are great running QBs and Tebow has one of the best "field visions" in the game. You are correct that these players are getting paid to win games, but with each position comes standards/expectations and there are many unorthodox players in the league, Tebow and Vick are just 2 of many players.
To answer your question yes I like Vick, even when he was a Falcon, but what I didn't like was he wasn't great a passing the ball. He's greatly improved in that area and if you compare him from now to his seasons in ATL he is more of a "calm" player, doesn't rush things. He has been far from spectacular or even good this season, but yes I do wish the best for him and am happy the NFL gave him a second chance. I don't agree with the new $100mil+ contract he got, but that's a different topic.
As for Young I was never a fan. In the two games he's started he's proven to me at least that he couldn't throw a ball to save his life and unfortunately Reid's offense doesn't play to his strengths. I never wanted Young on the team, in fact I was mad that we signed him as our backup and not giving Kafka the chance. Young was proven to be dysfunctional in Tennessee and had stated he was on the verge of retirement because of his mental/emotional state. I don't know about you, but I don't want someone that weak-minded on my team. However, being able to play under Reid and with all the roster moves inflated his ego, hence the "Dream Team" comment. He was like a fan, thought too far ahead and how much work actually needed to be put into getting the chemistry of the team together.
Now back to Tebow, if he was a more accurate passer then he would certainly be a great QB, right now. However, he makes up for it with his running and smart decisions when it comes to passing. Tebow is a very smart player, and if given the time can become a more accurate passer further expanding his game and making him more of a threat than he already has become. Even if they weren't winning you can see that everyone on their sideline has a positive attitude and that's because of Tebow, a quality of a leader. I'm not a fan of his or the Broncos, but you gotta acknowledge what they've done when all the odds were against them. Tebow changed the organization and the culture, and now look at them, they're winning.
