The Official DF Galaxy Nexus Pre-Release Thread

I've seen with my own eyes an e-mail that came out just recently today from VZW corporate (in the last 2 hours) that says the Nexus is coming out the 15th. This was on a corporate VZW email account.
So, that's the next date they're giving internally. Not saying it will not end up being delayed again (please, god, no, don't let that happen...), but that's the best we are gonna get for now, until an announcement is made. This is as solid as the 9th was before the sudden delay, in that the date is now in a few different official communication channels that can be accessed by some corporate employees.
We also have the green light (in our store anyway) to buy accessories for the Nexus as employees with our 35% discount, and we are allowed to take the Nexus floor model home with us at night (we have to share). I got the black/black Incipio case and extended battery today. Woot

I am sorry but I can't trust a guy who joined yesterday giving me a new date. Had you been here for the last two months stringing me along it would be a different story.. Wait.. what?
That same guy who just joined yesterday also posted pics of a Nexus in his own hands. His has more credibility than 99% of us on this board who like to speculate based on Twitter and Droid Life rumors.
He is legit, its an alias account for him on here.

You know, I posted some pictures in one of the threads on this forum yesterday of the Galaxy Nexus I've been playing with. I can find them for you, and then I can ask you to find ANY news outlet on the net where the photos had previously been shared. When you fail to find any, maybe you'll believe I posted the pics. I've held and played with a Galaxy Nexus (overnight, actually - I had it at home for 24 hours - helps when you know the SM/DM and are part of the corporate family, you get to take store demo units home to play with). I have access to corporate e-mail. Many other employees were sent the same exact email. Not my fault you don't know anyone in the company with enough importance to know these things.
Anyway, I'm doing the same thing P3Droid has been doing - sharing information, NOT trying to force people to believe. But facts are hard to argue with.
I am a contributing member here who has been around for a while in one form or another, but I've got a public and somewhat well-known profile on Twitter that I believe VZW knows about and I'm not about to have myself or anyone I love or know fired because I am sharing information with people on this or other forums, especially when no one is forcing or even asking me to do so.
Edit: Before anyone mentions it - yes, I know the SM/DM could both get fired (and other people involved) for letting a store demo unit go home. But, when they're both my friends, and if they don't tell on me I won't tell on them, well, there's no problem, is there?

Internet fighting is dumb. I should have been more transparent about the fact that I had posted the pictures yesterday. My apologies to you on that front. I really just want us all to get this phone. You know, the worst part is having spent a day with one and having to give it back

So I called a premium retailer (celluar connection) today who confirmed that it was suppose to get released tomorrow but has been pushed back. They didn't give me a date but put me on the call list. I asked if there was a lot of inquiries and she said no I was the first one and only one on the list lol. I live n a small area but a lot of stupid people in my community (everyone has iphones lol) so makes sense.
I usually don't buy from this place but they gave me more info then the corporate store did. So at this point I don't believe at all now it will be out tomorrow

Supposedly the reason why VZ pushed it back is because of all the rumors. So, if we stop VZ will release it?
C'mon VZ, at least give us condition for releasing the Nexus. We'll promise to be good and not comment on this thread at all. Now, can we have our Nexuses???
