If Santa worked for Verizon, we wouldn't get our presents until May. Every day there would be sleigh sightings and someone would report hearing "Ho Ho Ho" or find reindeer droppings on their roof, but no one would actually see presents for months.

The real reason for the delay is Verizon wants to help you all get to 4000 posts on this thread. The quicker you get there the sooner you all get your phones. So get to work!!dancedroid

A bit off topic, but thanks. Just downloaded it and WOW, light years better than the version I was using with cm7. The ICS like functionality is amazing. The folders are great! Everyone should jump on this for 10 cents.

I've tried so many difference launchers, and no matter what, I always find myself coming back to Launcher Pro. Not much has changed over the past couple months, but it's the snappiest and most stable launcher for me. All the others I've tried on my phone seem laggy.

What i have to say isnt funny at all. I actually have the nexus! How i got it is an interesting story, you see i walked into Vzw and just asked for it. The rep said they didnt have any. but i looked through the an open door and saw one. I realized i didnt have my wallet to pay for it anyway so i went back to my car to get it and then make a point that it was clearly in the back. well it took me till midnight to find my wallet, it was also really cold so i put on my black hoody. My voice was going out as well so i wrote "i want the nexus in the bag do not activate it" on a note. (it hurt to speak becuase i had a cold) I went to walk into Verizon but it was closed. :frown: So i heard something, went around the back and saw a worker go inside the back door. I just wanted to ask him if i could buy the nexus.... My ears were freezing so i put the hood up. but then i went inside the door looking for him. Well when i walked in he was standing their very surprised. i handed him my note, he must have been sick as well because he turned white.... Well he put the nexus in a bag and it turns out he gave it to me for free becuase he said "Just get out of here"! I was so happy. I went to my car and drove off, but while i was a good football field away i could see a whole bunch of flashing lights. I bet he was having a heart attack or something and called the fire department. Kinda strange that it was just the police were also their to though...maybe the fireman and ambulance crews were busy? Well guys, be jealous of my nexus now. :biggrin:

Have you tired Go Launcher? I use that one with thier iPhone theme and its pretty nice. I also got into QQ Launcher for a few weeks because their neat unlock screen. ADW EX is my go to though but I just wanted the ability to have little number notifications on the apps I use such as text, gmail, the phone and such.

Yup, tried that one too. Plain laggy on my phone, and tons of redraws...

Who put Santa in a straight jacket again? Guys should feel horrible. Misses Claus apparently didnt want santa to leave her alone for christmas.

Corp store said they had a ton of them and would not sell out on launch day said best buy was leting people demo the nexus going after work to see if I can get my hands on one

Sorry if this is a little off topic...but since you guys are talking about apps and such..

I haven't gotten my Android device yet, is there a way that I can go online via a PC, create an account in the marketplace and download the apps that you're talking about and then push to my phone later?

I still plan on walking into the Verizon store tomorrow and go "hi I would like to buy a nexus " and see what happens.

How'd that be for a point made to Verizon? Imagine a line of 50-100 people all asking for the Nexus....
