At this point I'm hoping at&t announces the nexus because I will drop verizon and run in a heartbeat. They don't deserve my $2000 over 2 years - fancy lte network or not. I have a 7 hour drive ahead of me on the 20th... I wonder if I should consider finding a craigslist something that's not an og droid to keep me occupied

Dont do anything rash. You will immediately regret your decision within 10 minutes of using a phone on AT&T's network....

You know I keep hearing Google is as much to blame as Verizon is for the delay. Especially with "updating software reason for delay rumor...

Well, this sucks since when I went to return my current device tuesday they said that I could just come in Friday to exchange for the Nexus to avoid multiple transactions and issues with my account / data which I tend to have a lot of so I agreed. Now should I go back in today and just return it or continue keeping it until the Nexus comes out?

Yup, that must be why none of the other carriers are having issues with it....

Verizon would like you to think it's someone else's fault, but IMO, they're just using any lame excuse they can to delay selling it.

If by "other carriers" you mean those in Europe and Canada, I could care less about them. I would have a HUGE issue if US carriers had the phone out and Verizon didn't. That would be an abomination. I'm not some Verizon lackey...just sayin....

Vodafone (VZW overseas basically) was the last to allow the phone on their network, if I remember right... coincidence maybe, but interesting.

Here is my take on everything:

Release of Samsung Galaxy Nexus= #EpicFail

Hey Verizon/Google/Samsung/Super AMOLED(purchased by Samsung?)/Texas Instruments.....CAN YOU HEAR ME NOW!!!!!????

As much as I think ICS looks awesome along with the idea of quick updates on a Nexus device, I'm getting sick of waiting. I've played with both the Razr and Rezound in stores and both were pretty nice, had great build quality. Not only am I sick of waiting, I'm worried about a few things with the Nexus now... Will it ever come out:mad:? How will the build quality be relative to the Razr/Rezound? Radio issues? I've been reading quite a bit of people having issues with wifi and cell signal and that kind of worries me.

I'm renting an iPhone at the moment, and while it is an extremely smooth ux and I'm very glad I gave it a shot, I'm ready to switch back to android and the Nexus is the device I thought I wanted but its getting frustrating now. Do I keep holding onto a fragile, glass iPhone that has a lot of bothersome limitations? Or do I return it and pick between razr/rezound?

Doubt I'll really go for anything other than the Nexus, but it is just annoying being lead on for so long!
