How does Barnacle work for you? I've had issues w/ the connection getting stale or whatever while streaming Hulu(stock rooted Froyo). On Liquid 3.1, it doesn't work reliably.

The only time I have trouble is when I have used WI-FI before turning on Barnacle. Sometimes Barnacle has trouble turning off the regular Wi Fi process. Other than that, it works like a champ. But then again, I haven't tried streaming long video with it...

Haha, yeah, I don't think Barnacle likes streaming full shows. Open Garden does well though. But they want you to donate to support net neutrality...not a big fan of that.

Called the 611 to innocently ask about the Nexus, the Rep wouldn't give me a release date. She then looked at my number and noticed I was upgrading from a DX and told me about the 3G to 4G upgrade offer, $100 rebate card! She told me she would "pin" it in the notes on my account so the Verizon store would see it. Give them a call and ask about the upgrade. Let us know if you get the same results, she said the offer was good until 12/31/11.

I live in Pa and just got off the phone w/ a verizon rep, she stated that I am eligible for the promo also. I currently use a DX and was told that I can use the $100 towards the nexus as long as it's out by the 31st

Yeah it is. They cut a deal. They want the razr to be the center of attention for as long as possible. You don't bring out a flagship phone only to have become obsolete a few weeks later. They want sales for as long as they can hold off the wolves of nexus.
