Yeah it is. They cut a deal. They want the razr to be the center of attention for as long as possible. You don't bring out a flagship phone only to have become obsolete a few weeks later. They want sales for as long as they can hold off the wolves of nexus.

I'm not to sure. The Nexus has been delayed for numerous reasons. Motorola is gonna sell regardless, if this was the case the Rezound wouldn't be getting as advertised as much as it is. I see that commercial way more than the RAZR commercial. The Nexus is gonna appeal to people interested on it already, while casual phone users are going to go for the RAZR.
