and as for what ever this whole thread is about here is my opinions so far.I will eventually get the galaxy nexus. I hope is not terrible and the battery life can be dealt with. I will use my 14 day return policy (or whatever the deal is, or if the deal is with returns) and decide if it is worth it to keep the galaxy nexus or go to a more stable device.As for the wait- I have spent hours upon hours looking for rumors, replyign to rumors and opinions. The galaxy nexus is not worth the wait. it may be amazing but lets face it, it will be in my pocket by the 2nd day. i will look at and back at the forum and wonder what the wait for it was for. why? i already have an android device. i have had the droid for just about 2 years now and ive completely mastered it. I know everything, the popular apps, the settings, the features. i know ics will be new, but its still the same. the market will be the same, the apps will be the same. i will just see them differently. sure the camera will be different but i will use it in the same way. Panorama mode will be nice and sure i will test it out but i will never need it. if im at Niagara Falls then fine, i may want to use it. but taking two pictures or just moving back/zooming out allitle will do the same job. Same with the photo effects. The phone is fast, we know that, but we have done everything we wanted to with our past phones so that what more can the speed do for us (short term).
a great example- Madden 11 vs Madden 12. you want it, you wait for it, but its all the same, just improved. Not on the wii ofc, the wii is bad.
I am looking forward to the change of the ics and the galaxy nexus. the phone itself is not a dissapointment or a letdown. The wait is causing it to be one. "i waited, researched fake rumors, gave away $300, for this?" - It will be awesome, but in no way live up to the wait.
