I believe Miami...

If he says it's still unusable because of bugs then the Dec 8th date may be more accurate than any other rumor.

Whether it's better than the RAZR who knows.

Alright back to nexus talk, be nice and have fun. Im out.

Yeah let's keep it friendly in here guys. I know most of us are frustrated with the release of the Nexus but I'm sure when it does release, we'll all be happy campers.

Sunday Night football is on!

Correct me if Im wrong, but doesnt seem strange that google would introduce a phone with so many bugs and unstable? And now you(google)have the masses waiting on an unstable porduct and yes a release date has not been given, however we know the phone exist and we want it

Yes it would be strange. Take everything you just read with a grain of salt. Yes there are bugs, there are always bugs but nothing to get too excited over. This got real good like this back in the early days of 2.1 update for the OG. There are a few people on every board that claim to be the son of Mr. Verizon himself... lol

Exactly. If the device is still that unstable and buggy, why the heck did they hold the Nexus/ICS event? Put it off for another month or so until everything is truly ready, then the device can be released while consumers are pumped. Now they have to deal with disenchanted nerds like me. As much as I dislike Apple, they ride the wave better than anyone else.

Not for nothing, but if apple announced any forthcoming iphone, but waited over a month before going public with its US release date, there would be societal upheaval, lol! They announce & then release shortly thereafter...
At least Google is somewhat under the mainstream public radar re: the Nexus devices, except for geeks like us, haha! So I presume Verizon doesn't care all that much about our demographic...

The only thing I can think of is that the LTE version just wasn't tested by the time they did the show, somehow not knowing that it would need more testing than the other version. I don't understand it, or even believe it, but it seems like the only answer honestly.

They obviously thought the UK version was ready for release, so either Verizon is holding it up for their own reasons, which is very possible, or there really are big enough bugs to delay the LTE version.

You guys fail to realize that the failure isnt in the phone itself neccesarily but the fact its on vzw lte which is still in its infancy. This is a well anticipated device and you want to limit the amount of lte connection issues.

is anyone worried about the Front Camera issue that UK owners have on the xda forums??

"Front facing camera doesn't aim inwards towards your face. It points straight forward at 90 degrees, but it's positioned on the right of the device, so your face isn't central unless you hold the phone at a bit of an angle facing away from you. [EDIT - this is getting very annoying now. You have to have the phone scren pointing almost away from you to video call]"

I really hope this is not the case and could be something stupid, or this could be a deal breaker.

That poster may have a faulty device.
