December 8th is as legit as it gets. I just read a printed off email from VZW OMM Merchandising that confirms the 8th launch date. This is a direct communication from corporate VZW. That was from an inventory update as of 11/18/2011.
If the launch date changes henceforth, VZW will update it in OMM.
Also, it said stores will get live demo devices and accessories ahead of launch. Pretty typical. This thing is ready. VZW has a strategy, that's all. Further, the red Dinc2 is launching Black Friday. It's direct fill only and ships directly from HTC, not from VZW warehouses.
Glad I have grad school finals to keep me busy these next 2 weeks. Find something to do, it'll help you all.

Verizon district rep let me play with his today. it was 32gb, ran great. Felt like a cheap plastic toy though compared to my rental RAZR. Screen was good, not as great as I was hoping though. He had no idea on date though. Oh well, phone was fun to mess with looking forward to it.

You could shut the mouths of all these doubters by taking a pic of a phone laying on top of a local newspaper or magazine with the current date showing.
He has it p3droid sent it to him. the wierd thing is p3droid did not complain of bugs on the phone but since miami got it it appears to be a nonfunctional unstable phone, thats the question what happened during delivery.
Google. Dev phones were 32 gb. But also not lte. Its a known fact we arnt getting 32gb
