I just noticed this....by splitting the thread, it basically doubled my post count. (and made me Senior Droid! woot)


Sad day #1 Nexus delayed

Sad day #3 Nexus delayed yet again
Sad day #4 Because of thread split and duplication, I never got to post my 100th post...Oh and the Nexus was delayed again!

Remember the Rezound? Just kind of showed up on a Monday. To me that's even worse than Verizon at least launching the Nexus on their typical Thursday. With Verizon it is all about the DROID lineup. The Rezound and the Nexus are not DROID phones. So they won't get the same push that the RAZR gets. Sometimes after release the phones get attention like the Rezound has had some commercials here and there. The last time I saw a HEAVILY marketed non-DROID phone it was the Thunderbolt. Google may have partnered with SAMSUNG for the Nexus, but they are in bed with Motorola. Do you think they even care?

I might have to agree with this, but on the 8th is when all the anti-9th rumors started, but at the same time there were also alot more pro-9th rumors too. compared to what we had as evidence for the 9th, the 15th is looking weak, but you never now, until you have the phone in hand

I don't think we'll hear anything until tomorrow. If we hear anything from them anyway, I think it'll come quietly.

@Panther - No, I remember it being before the 8th even. So many people were being negative. But I do agree, evidence this time is no where near AS strong, but only because the leaks we've gotten haven't been called "official".

I am on a call list at 4 different stores, one of them, I know the manager from High School. He knows to let me know when he gets the official date. Him and all three of the other stores have been pretty quiet :frown:

Anyone know where you can find a Nexus S on the cheap. Maybe one with a broke antenna but where wifi still works? Are there sites out there selling this stuff or is it just an eBay adventure?

I would love to add the S to my stash so I can do a full Nexus lineup comparison all running ICS. Just for my own purposes, but also because I think it would be an entertaining video. The Nexus phones have certainly grown up.

I believe the rumor mill started up heavily Monday of that week. And as Trus reminded me before, a lot of it was phone shipments.
