Usually when you finish your contract with Verizon and renew it, they give you a $100 rebate card. That's what I am referring to. I want that rebate card.
Some people don't want someone else playing with the phone before them. Potentially scratching it I guess? I think it's silly, but to each his own. You have waited months for this phone, wait and extra 30 minutes and walk out with a fully functional Nexus. Then take it home and root the crap out of it

I received a promo mailer from VZW a couple weeks ago. Says good to 12/25 "$100 off any smartphone" Shows Razr, Rezound and Bionic in the flyer but says "any smartphone". I am taking that with me but I also have my last NE2 and a "Loyalty Discount". Gimme my Nexus!
I have a discount in the mail on the way to me. Too bad I can't wait long enough to use it tomorrow morning. Oh well. Its NEXUS time!dancedroiddancedroiddancedroid
I've never paid a dime for an activate fee. You guys really get charged for that? I've bought phones at two different Verizons, best Buy, and BJs.... never a fee.

I've bought my last three phones from Best Buy so I'm not positive...I just always thought that there was a fee and that it was one of the upsides to buying at Best Buy.
Even then, unless they change their signature to "Posting this from my BRAND NEW Galaxy Nexus" or something along those lines, and provide pictures, how will we know it's true? and changing signature and providing pics takes time. So the first post won't have any proof. So I say first one with a pic of them sending the first post wins.
Wow, that sounds complicated. Glad I'm on AZ time.
