Can I just say, I LOVE THIS ROM!!!

It is so fast (even on the stock kernel) and on my phone it is running sooo smooth. I have yet to run into a FC and all of my apps seem to play nice with it.

I have been running UD since 3.0 and they just keep getting better and better!

This is the first time (in a long time) I did a full wipe and started from scratch. It feels like a brand new (turbocharged) machine!

I am sure there are a few bugs I haven't run into but BD has already released one update and another is on the way.

I can't wait to see some of the sick themes that are developed!dancedroid

I had an issue with the Search button not working (long press did). I came across this fix and it took care of the problem:

I was having the same issue and this is what I did from terminal:

mount -o remount,rw -t yaffs2 /dev/block/mtdblock3 /system

ln -s /data/app/com.google.android.googlequicksearchbox*.apk /system/app/GoogleQuickSearchBox.apk

mount -o remount,ro -t yaffs2 /dev/block/mtdblock3 /system

Reboot.

here's what is in the op: "All nonthemed system app that can be downloaded from the market have been removed and added to the UD Extras for easy downloand and installation to data"

so, i guess check Extras first, and then resort to the other measures...

Google Search is not in the extras. And you can't uninstall it from the Applications section of the settings.

Anyone else's kernel not reporting "time in state" in SetCPU or showing speed in System Panel? I am using the dafault kernel. Wondering if it is kernel or I had a bad install...

That's how the slayher kernels are. Any slayher kernel you install will not show time in state

I am having an issue however, and had it with the last rom I was using (BB .5)

My internal memory seems to be full all the time. All my apps are on my SD card and I still only have 29.11mb of internal memory. Does anyone know what may be eating up so much memory?

Any ideas Husker? You seem to be very helpful here in this thread...GO BIG RED! Frosh QB is a beast!

I have 124 apps (most are also on my SD) and I have 95 megs free!

Wiped Cache and data 5 times each! I do have cachemate..let me run it to see what it does..

I found settings to turn off every haptic feedback EXCEPT the phone dialer LOL so I guess we're out of luck on that one...

I've gotta agree that quadrant scores can't really mean much. I feel like this ROM is even smoother than 8.0, and my quadrant score is only like 903. I don't know, it's running cool, everything is working fine, no force closes, and no other issues that I can see. If getting a ROM as perfect as this means low quadrant scores...I'll take it.

Yea I am only overclocked to 800 and am getting 950+ quad scores... Maybe its just his phone not taking to it well... This has got to be the best ROM out right now (Till he drops another :wink Super fast, super smooth, It even got a approval from one of my friends who is ROM scrutinizer!! He actually said wow this is good.

Thank you. This is my first time using one of his kernels. I have always used Chevy's in the past. I like this one so far but may change since I rely on that data when setting advanced settings.

Love this rom. Super clean, fast, and havnt had any FC at all.

One little issue I'm having, I pulled the framework-res with ADB and did a little changing to it, but when I try to push it back I either get one of two things 1- permission denied, system mounted read only, 2- permission denied, operation not allowed " or something alond those lines" ( ive tried GOD mode , system in read write thru UD settings, SYSRW thru ADB.

So what am I missing?
