Other than my WIFI and GPS always turning off at random, great rom so far. No idea why it is always switching off. Using the stock kernel.

Why not just push the mms.apk from 8.0 to 1.0? That's all I did, and I now have LED color options...

Can you have different colors for handcent, gmail, appointments, etc?
and how do you push an app from 8.0 to 1.0?

You may want to register and write up your specific request there. He'll be sure to see it and make an Ultimate ROM even more ultimate!

UD1.0.0 Install error

I just downloaded UD 1.0.0 copied it to my SD card root and renamed to update.zip, rebooted and went into SPRecovery... wiped data/Cache 3 times, allowed UPDate.zip, and did an install... The error I get is:
assert failed: getprop("ro.product.device") == "supersonic" || getprop("ro.build.product") == "supersonic"
E:Error in /sdcard/update.zip
(Status 7)
Installation aborted

What do I do now? Help!:icon_evil:

anyone notice a decrease in signal strength? i was sitting in my lazy boy with ud and had 1 bar and no 3g. i flashed back to a different rom and went right back to 3-4 bars and 3g.

i thought it was where i was sitting so i tested this again today in a totally different location, outside of my home. i ended up with the same results.

but this rom sure does everything i need it to !

Yup, my phone spends a ton of time on 1x now. Turning airplace mode on and off doesn't help but rebooting helps for a short time.

I am also having crazy heat issues no matter what kernel I use. Not sure how I am supposed to resolve that.

I'm having the same issue. My phone was never on 1x at my house, and now it frequently is. Same issue at work, we have a repeater in the building!

You're using the wrong ROM. Here:

Yea I did it twice just to be sure. It hasn't helped unfortunately.
