Same here can't update..can't uninstall it either cuz it's the only launcher...ideas?

geez this **** is laggy. if i didnt have it so customized i would run my backup of ud8. trying to text is pissing me off so bad i want to throw this phone out the window. how are the other kernals? do they solve the lag issue? im still on the built in one.

My phones been running this rom beautifully since it dropped. No lagging or anything.

Running chevy 1.25 ulv throttled down to 800/400 and my battery lasts and very few redraws with launcher pro. Thanks to all the dev's for unleashing my droid and making it the monster it was designed to be

to fix the LP issue, just install ADW from the market, delete Launcherpro.apk from /system/app then reinstall LP from the market (and then uninstall ADW if you want)...annoying, yes, but only has to be done once.

That was my first thought.... sadly I have ADW installed now, deleted everything related to launcher pro (system/app, data/data, data/delvik-cache), cleared market data/cache and it still keeps coming back with "installation unsuccessful."

Ding ding ding.. haha. I was actually rebooting as I read this. That solved the issue.

Same here.. But trouble down the road. Need a registered launcher in /system/app in case of full wipe. Market launchers install in /data/app - and get lost on full wipe.

I think I might have resolved my issues. I get a data wiping cache wipe five times. I installed ud 1.0.0. I've then installed chevys 1.2 lv Kern. I set the max to 1. I went to the marketplace and manually installed all my apps. I let the phone set for 1 hour. Then I rebooted. I haven't noticed any lag since.

Move the .apk to /system/app.

It's not the ROM. Try changing the Weather Service to Google instead of Accuweather.
